Helpless

Aimee was backstage drinking some water before her song which she needs to sing nearly all on her own so she needs to nail every note and not have a voice crack as she would normally have during rehearsal, she had one more minute she took a selfie with another castmate and saved it then put her phone down again ready to enter the stage.

The heys started and Aimee ran on stage acting like she was in love when in fact she was thinking of Oliver in her mind 'ooh, I do, I do, I do, hey!, ooh, I do, I do' she sang and ran to the center stage looking out to the audience.

'Boy, you got me helpless, look into your eyes, and the sky the limit, helpless, I'm down for the count and I'm drowning in them' she twirled around while holding Renee hand (Angelica) then went to the side and lifted the dress a bit to go side to side.

'I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight' she said and took Burr's hand and danced a bit as he moved away she looked back at the audience 'we were at a revel with some rebels on a hot night, laughing at my sister as she's dazzling the room' she sang and walked to the other side of the stage 'then you walked in and my heart went boom, she said looking at Lin thinking about the first time seeing Oliver on his own.

She then grabbed Renee and pulled her to the other side of the room while singing 'trying to catch your eye from the side of the ballroom, everybody dancing and the bandstop volume' she sang keeping her eyes on Lin then looking straight at Renee 'grind to the rhythm as we wine and dine, grab my sister and whisper yo this one's mine' she said and Renee went walking across to Lin as Aimee kept her eyes on Renee.

'My sister made her way across the room to you, and I got nervous thinking whats she's gonna do, she grabs you by the arm, thinking I'm through, then you look back at me' she sang and made her way to center stage again.

'And suddenly I'm helpless, oh looks at those eyes, and the sky the limit, I'm helpless, down for the count and I'm drowning in them, I am so into you, I am so into you, and the sky the limit, I'm helpless, I know I'm down for the count and I'm drowning in them' she sang that last bit running across to stage right to look away fro a bit.

Oliver saw the scene and was impressed by it he knew it was directed by Aimee just by the style of the dances but not all of it though.

'Where are you taking me?' Lin (Alexander) asked 'I'm about to change your life' Renee said 'then by all means lead the way' Lin spoke then Aimee turned round to face them.

'Elizabeth Schuyler, It's a pleasure to meet you' she said bowing a bit to Lin 'Schuyler?' Lin questioned looking at Aimee with a smile 'my sister' Renee said cringing, the three of them loved this scene 'thank you for all your service' Aimee said with a smile 'if it takes fighting a war for us to meet, it will have been worth it' he said taking her hand and kissing it then linking his arm with hers 'I'll leave you to it' Renee said and the two walked off.

'One week later, I'm writing a letter nightly' Aimee sang running across to Jazz taking the fake letter from her and opening it up now my life gets better every letter that you write me' she sang and walked to the middle to the rest of the two sisters 'laughing at my sister cause she wants to form a harem' she sang with a frown of disappointment 'I'm just saying if you really love me you would share him' Renee sang and Aimee snatched the next letter out of her hand with a 'Ha!' and the three ran to the bench to sit down.

'Two weeks later, in the living room stressing, my fathers stone face, while you're asking for his blessing' she looked to the audience to sing her next bit 'I'm dying inside whilst you wine and dine, and I'm trying not to cry, 'cause there's nothing that your mind can't do' Aimee sang while looking at the letter which was really a picture of her and Oliver because this hit close to home for her.

She then stood up to sing her next bit 'my father makes his way across the room to you, I panic for a second thinking was through, but then he shakes your hand and says be true, and you turn back to me smiling, and' she sang and ran to lin holding hands with a smile and turning around stepping back letting Renee and Jazz do the same as well.

'Helpless, look into your eyes and the sky the limit' she sang and went to the back waiting for her sisters while Lin danced a bit which made her laugh, the sisters hug and she ran to the front singing her next bit 'that boy is mine, that boy is mine' she sang looking up into the god seats, picked up her skirt a bit 'helpless, down for the count and I'm growing in them' she sang and gave her sisters a high five before making her way back to Lin moving her hair out of her face.

'Eliza, I don't have a dollar to my name, An acre of land, a troop to command, a dollop of fame, All I have's my honor, a tolerance for pain, A couple of college credits, and my top-notch brain' he sang which made her laugh a bit.

'Insane, your family brings out a different side of me, Peggy confides in me, Angelica tried to take a bite of me' she looked back but then looked back at Lin 'No stress, my love for you is never in doubt, We'll get a little place in Harlem and we'll figure it out, I've been livin' without a family since I was a child, My father left, my mother died, I grew up buck wild, But I'll never forget my mother's face, that was real, And long as I'm alive, Eliza, swear to God, You'll never feel so' Oliver saw the facial expressions change quickly and the rest were impressed, but this is mainly because she had been doing this show for ages.

The female back up dancers joined the stage with fake invitations as Aimee sang her next bit 'I do, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do' she sang checking each one with a smile picking them up then heading to her sisters to put them in a box 'yeah, yeah, down for the count and I'm drowning in them' she sang with her sisters after closing the box and Renee put the veil on her and Aimee crouched a bit with a smile then stood back up.

She then ran onto the other side of the stage and stood on the turntable part of it 'I look into your eyes and the sky's the limit, I'm' dragging the note out and holding her belly for comfort as it is so hard to sing in that corset.

She then ran to the back to link arms with a male dancer who posed as her dad and walked down the aisle the other dancers said 'in new york, you can be a new man' three times before Aimee sang 'helpless' up close to Lin and gave him a little kiss before the two walked to the other side of the stage ready for the next song.

Bonnie and Tom were shocked about this but since they didn't know so were the others and Oliver who forgot about it.
