Chapter 1

It's been almost six years since I was forced to move in with those two and let's just say it was a learning experience for everyone. They had no idea how to raise a child full time and I had no idea what to do with so much to actually do. I had grown accustomed to living with the bare minimum due to having to move at a moments notice.

A week after I originally moved in, Hizashi cleared out one of the downstairs rooms and turned that into my music room. They paid for private tutors so I could learn how to play certain instruments; violin, piano and guitar mostly. He also helped me learn how to use the other part of my quirk since he had the same one. That drove Papa Aizawa crazy because it was always so loud in the house. I still didn't really have any friends however. There were a few people I talked to on occasion, but that's about it with the exception of Hawks. Despite everything with him being a pro hero and me simply being a student, the two of us were actually pretty good friends. He would always accompany me when I would go see my mom since she was locked up in Tartarus and I wasn't really allowed to go by myself.

When the news of what happened to Toya came out, I was broken. My best friend had died and I wasn't able to be there to try and stop him. Papa Aizawa and dad couldn't understand why I was so upset. How could they after all? What would I tell them? That we were childhood friends and I erased his memory of me so he wouldn't be sad when I moved? What kind of sense would that make to someone who wasn't there? I stayed either locked up in my room or in my music room for weeks, barely eating anything at all. They were afraid I was going to die it had gotten so bad. Neither of them knew what to do, all they knew was that this child they had recently acquired was completely heartbroken.

Once I was finally able to pull myself out of that, things went a little smoother.  They enrolled me in actual school and introduced me to quiet a few different pro heroes. I still talk to Hawks on a basically daily basis though. It's hard for me to believe that I'm about to enter high school.

Today is the day. The day of the entrance exam for UA! I got accepted due to a recommendation from Papa Aizawa and dad so I don't have to take the entrance exam like many of the other students did. I couldn't help myself from going to watch them however. What better way than to figure out who I would be going to class with after all? There was actually someone in particular that I was looking for, but he likely got in on recommendation as well so he probably wouldn't be here. Either way it was still fun to watch everyone. As I  took my seat, the whispers started.

"Isn't that Present Mic's daughter?"

"Yeah but she's also the daughter of that villain."

"What's she doing here?"

"You don't think she'll actually get into this school do you?"

It was the same everywhere I  went. Ever since I was little, people loved to talk about how I'm the daughter of a villain. Many people seem to forget that I'm also the daughter of a hero. Ignoring the whispers, I prop one foot up on the seat in front of me and wait.

Dad came out and announced the rules before setting the potentials on their way. They had ten minutes to gather as many points from the robotic opponents as they could. Those who scored highest were accepted into the school.  There seemed to be quiet a few who were dripping with potential. There was one with an explosion quirk, one who could levitate things, and one who even shot a Lazer from his stomach. There was one however who didn't seem to be doing anything. He hadn't gained a single point yet while the others were gaining point after point. Was he quirkless, or just waiting for the right time?

UA had recently started letting in quirkless kids so it was very possible. After they brought out the big guns though, my question was answered. That same kid who hadn't gained a single point somehow managed to take down the giant robot with a single punch, helping out one of the other contestants in the process. Time ran out before he could gain a single point however, so there was a chance he wouldn't be getting into UA.
