Chapter 19

"Melody come on or else you're.. Ope." Mina says as she opened the door. I groaned at the sudden flash and peeked my eye open just enough to see Mina standing in my doorway with her phone out.

"Mina what the hell..." I grumble as I stretch my arms over my head, hitting something in the process. The groan beside me honestly made me freak out for a split moment before I looked over to see that I had accidently smacked Shinso in the face when I stretched. When the hell did we fall asleep?

"Why did you smack me Melody.... Huh? Morning Mina." Shinso says all nonchalantly. Mina opens her mouth to say something then closes it again. She seemed at a lost for words which was strange for her.

"Um... We have to be leaving for class soon. Might want to get ready." She finally says before bolting out of the room. "Uraraka! You won't believe this! Look at how cute!" She yells as soon as she gets down the hall a bit. I sigh before fully shoving Shinso from my bed.

"Hey...."

"Get out. I have to get dressed."

"Alright alright. You didn't have to shove me out of the bed though." He grumbled as he stood back up and rubbed the back of his neck. "You alright though?" I simply nod my head in response and he seemed to accept that as he headed out of my room.

The day actually went uneventful... Until hero training that is. Aizawa had us paired up and sparring today. I was paired with Kirishima today to see how my quirk would work against those who can change their physical attributes. With everything that was going on right now, the teachers wanted us to be fully prepared just in case. The rest of the class was standing off to the side just watching as the two of us sparred. Everything was going fine until one little thing caught me off guard.

"Princess." My breath hitched at the sudden voice in my ear. That small distraction allowed Kirishima to get a full hit in and knock me into the building behind us.

"Shit! Melody! I'm sorry. I was expecting you to dodge it!"

"Melody!" A few of the other classmates call out.

I just laid there, trying to catch the breath that was knocked out of me. Before the dust cleared, I hit the earpiece.

"Horrible timing Patches..." I mutter with a cough. The dust from the impact finally settled and I just laid there and looked up at the sky. "That hurt..."

"Melody are you alright?" Kirishima asks as he holds his hand out to help me up. "What happened? It was like you spaced for a moment." I groaned and took his hand, standing again.

"Sorry. For some reason I thought I heard someone call my name." Well it wasn't a complete lie. "I'm OK though. Let's go again."

"Mel that was a hell of a hit..."

"Lets go Kiri. I promise I'm fine." He looked at me skeptically before looking over at Aizawa who shrugged and motioned for us to continue. I get into stance again and so does Kiri. Within moments the two of us were at it again and I knew Toya could hear every little sound.

"Princess we have something that belongs you..." Toya says after a bit of silence.

"Not now Patches." I growl, making sure it's low enough for no one else to hear over the usages of our quirks. There was an audible sigh before some shuffling and a new voice filled my ear.

"You bastards! Let me go!"

"Fucking hell!" I say a little louder than I meant to which caught Kirishima by surprise and caused him to loose his balance. The two of us tumbled through the dirt, ending with me sitting on his chest.
