Even though term hasn't technically started, papa had us all working on our "hero moves" and getting us ready to take our provisional hero license test. I made it a point to avoid Todoroki since the first night. All I could do was feign ignorance and not know what he was talking about before locking myself in my room.

Three days before our license exams though is when everything changed. I was taking my post-training shower when out of nowhere the door burst open and I could hear Iida fussing about something.

"You can't go in there! That's the girls shower. I don't care if you're a pro hero...." I hear before the door shuts again. Blinking, I peek past the shower curtain at who ever entered and sighed softly. He couldn't actually see anything so I really wasn't that worried about him being in there.

"What do you want Hawks? Better make it quick before Iida gets dad and papa down here and he's quick. So talk fast." I ducked back behind the shower curtain to continue my shower while he spoke.

"OK, look I know I haven't been around for a little bit now but I've been trying to deal with stuff for you." He says and I look around the shower curtain again at him.

"What do you mean for me?" I watched as he shifted slightly like he really didn't want to say. "Kiego...."

"Mel it's the Commission..." My smile faded and I quickly turned off the shower. Wrapping a towel around my body, I stepped out and took a step towards Hawks. His feathers ruffled slightly as he watched me step closer, taking a small step back himself.

"What the hell does the Commission want Hawks?" He shifted again and took another step back, not answering my question. "Hawks what do they want with me?"

"They want you to step away from UA for a bit and infiltrate the League. Because of who you are, you would have a greater success than just about anyone else. Technically they want us both to, but I would be coming in at a later time." By this time I was standing directly in front of him, holding the towel so that it wouldn't fall.

"Three days Hawks! Three days until I can get my hero license! And now you come to me with this?! Look if you can convince my dad then sure whatever... But imma have a meeting with them first, do you hear me?" Before he could even answer, the bathroom door slings open again. Both of us turn to see who was standing there and in all actuality it was more like who wasn't. Dad and Aizawa stood at the front while everyone else was gathered around to see what was going on.

"Melody this is not proper behavior for a young woman!" Iida pipes in and I just give all of them a deadened look.

"There's the man you need to speak to Hawks. Have fun." I pat his shoulder, causing him to ruffle his feathers again, before walking out of the bathroom and towards my room. As soon as Mineta makes an attempt to look under my towel as I walked past, I kicked him out of the way and into the wall behind him. "Don't even think about it you pervert."

"What on earth just happened?"

"What exactly is going on between the two of them?"

"He just straight up bursted into the girls shower room like he already knew she was in there..."

I hear the others whisper to each other as I walked past and to my room, slamming the door behind me. I could hear the argument between dad and Hawks over what I was going to do. Dad didn't like the fact of sending me into the lions den. It was a couple of hours of back and forth between the two of them before there was a knock at my bedroom door. Sighing, I stood and opened the door. Just as I expected, standing there was dad, papa and Hawks.

"So... What's the verdict?" Surprisingly enough, dad eventually agreed. Mostly because when the Commision called, there wasn't much you could do. This wasn't the first time they called on me to do something after all.
