Camila Summers was the sort of girl who made someone's day better just by being there. She had the aura of the classic 'girl next door.'
She was sweet but told things straight.
People felt comfortable around her, she had the skill of not making things awkward. Could small talk for hours.
She hated liars even though she could be one herself.
Everyone said good things about her, no matter who they were. It was near impossible to find someone who didn't like her. It was just the way she was. Lovable.
The problem was, Cami fell in love the all time. It wasn't always romantically however, she never really fell out of love. If she loved someone it was always going to be there, haunting her all the time.
When she met Pete it was like a flame had just been lit in her life. He was exciting and interesting. Different. Very different from her. An enigma to her. Just as she was to him.
Pete couldn't believe how well they connected.
They met at a party. Classic. Thrown by friends of friends that they somehow both ended up at.
He didn't even think she'd want to talk to him, not because she was stuck up but, she just had no reason to.
No one could have predicted the two of them together but it worked. Well in fact.
