"I can't believe you have to go in less than 24 hours," Pete moans as I lay cuddled in his arms.
I nestle my face into his neck as my hand strokes his bare chest. "I know but it's not like we'll be far apart," I reason. "Besides you've already organised half of you trips down to mine and I'll be here as often as I can."
I was due in Charleston the next day to start filming 'Outer banks.' I had a fairly small role but in all honestly hadn't wanted anything big. I was just excited to spend time with Madeline. We've known each other for years since our parents are friends but never got to spent much time together since I grew up in the UK.
We'd only reconnected again when she started filming 'Outer Banks." I'd met up with her and met the rest of the cast as well. I couldn't wait to start working with them, especially Drew who I was doing most of my scenes with. I'd gotten an apartment in the same place as his and Austin's place. We knew we were all going to end up staying at each other place all the time.
Maddie and I had discussed sharing but I didn't want to be in the way of Chase and her. Plus, I liked the privacy and wanted a quiet space for when Pete or any of my friends visited.
Pete and I were lazily lying on the couch in my apartment, enjoying or last day together. He laughs a something on the TV as I open a message from my manager, Stacy. "Hey look at this," I burrow my brows holding up my phone. "What is it?" Pete moves his gaze from the TV to my screen. "My manager sent me a link to this TMZ article about me just released." I untangled my limbs from Pete and sit up cross legged on the couch. "Oh shit, what are they saying." he says concerned.
"The mystery that is starlet Camila Summers," I began reading the title. Rolling my eyes at how unnecessarily dramatic they've made it and cringe slightly at the picture they use of me.

"At the tender age of 20 our favourite starlet, Camila Summers, has built up quite the enviable resume between acting and model. Just a few of her credits include roles in Game of Thrones, You and Shameless. More notable roles include her part as 'MJ' in both Spider-Man movies. Then her role in the soon releasing movie, Dune, which she starred alongside her ex boyfriend Timothèe Chalamet. She has also won many awards including an BAFTA, for leading actress and a Golden Globe nomination for her starring role in Low Standards. She is also nominated for an Oscar in the best actress category.
"Summers is originally born in Mexico but moved to Scotland at age 4 when she was adopted. She grew up between homes in Edinburgh and London, England."
"I'm still mad you don't have a proper Scottish accent, cause that would be so sick if you did," Pete jokes.
"Well I sort of do but not all Scottish people have a thick Glaswegian accent all you fucking Americans think of," I giggle; knowing fine well I'd explained before why my accent never stuck due to all the moving around as a child. Plus I wasn't born in Scotland so I was never going to have full on Scottish accent.
