"Thank you," I said to my driver as he unloaded my cases from the car. I'd arrived in Charleston a couple hours ago, luckily getting through the airport without too many photos. I just had time to unpack some of my belongings before I was due at set for a brief meeting with the cast.
Most of my things had already been delivered here as well as the car I was renting brought to the car park. Normally I wouldn't bother with getting a car but Drew and JD told me they often went for drives on their days off so I didn't want to be left out.
I exited my new buildings elevator as fast as my sore legs could take me so I could get to the place I'd be spending my next couple months. Let's just say my legs still haven't fully recovered from Pete's goodbye present to me this morning. He certainly knows his way round the bedroom.
When I unlocked the door to my new apartment the first thing I notice is the glass dinner table filled with bouquets of roses. I spot a note sitting at the end of the table and turn it over to see if it says anything : a little something to make your new place feel a little more homey - Pete.
My heart flutters as I read the message and I can't contain my smile. I quickly pull out my phone and send him a message to thank him. Everyday I find myself becoming more and more in love with him. I didn't even know that was possible.
After quickly unpacking my things I'm satisfied with how the place is looking. It's not super big or fancy but it's simple and elegant. My phone buzzes with an incoming call from Drew.
"Eh hey Drew," I say a little confused. "Are you in the building right now?" He replies excitedly ignoring my greeting. "Yeah," I say slowly. "How did you even know I got in today?" "We're taking you to set. I'm sending you my room number get down here right now!" He says ignoring my question.
Before I have time to reply he hangs up and sends me directions to his place. I laugh at how I'd forgotten he could be so dramatic when he wanted to be. I changed out of my travelling clothes into something casual and headed down to his.

I excitedly knocked on his door and seconds later Austin's face came into view sporting a huge grin. "Ahh I've missed you," I squeal as he takes me into a huge hug. "It's been so long," he gushes finally releasing me and ushering me into his place. I nod my head in agreement and open my mouth to speak but am quickly cut off. "Cami!" Drew shouts running over to hug me.
"Drew!" I announce back as he swings me round in a large hug. I'd always been close to Drew since the first time we'd met. We just seemed to click and and got each other's sense of humours. "Maddie told me you were coming today and we wanted to be the first ones to see you," he laughs.
