It was fun while it lasted.

"Wow your place is gorgeous," Drew complimented as he looked around Cam's apartment.
"Thank you. I'm not finished unpacking yet but it's coming together," she replied.
His eyes gazed at the tableful of roses. "Sale at the florists or something?" He laughs.
"No," Cami giggles. "Pete had them delivered here before I arrived."
"Ah that's nice," he nods.

"So what about you?" Camila asks pouring them each a glass of water.
The pair had got bored down at his place and Drew said he wanted to see where he'd be spending most of time when he wanted to escape Austin.

"What about me?"
"You with anyone?" Camila raises her brows. "I've heard about Madison's girl, Rudy's girl, you with someone?"
"Well," he says slowly.
"Omg who!"
"Well, I'm with nobody I'm fucking lonely," Drews laughs as she groans.

"A man like you not with anyone, the worlds a mystery," she laughs. She really meant it. In short time knowing him, she knew he would be a great boyfriend to someone.
"I know, thought becoming an actor would get me some girls but that backfired," he jokes.
"I'll find someone for you, my match making skills have never failed," she brags.
He gave her an unsure look. "Who have you set up before then?"
"Okay well no one yet," Cami admits breaking into a smile.

"So you've never failed because you never fucking started," he laughs pushing her arm.
"Jeez way to look at the glass half empty," she rolls her eyes.
Drew laughs along with her as they get along like old friends.

"So." Drew said seriously turning on the couch to face her while she sat with her legs crossed.
"What?" She said trying to hold her smile in.
"I want to get all the goss on Pete," he smirked like a child.
"Did you just say goss?" She mocked.
"Yes, yes I did but that's not the point. I've told you about my love life or lack of, now your turn."

In all honesty Drew didn't really care about their relationship that much, he just wanted to get a sense of who Pete was. What made him good enough for her?
Although they were fairly new friends he was pretty protective of her and Cami often looked to him for advice. She respected his opinion for some reason.

"Well I mean we've kept things pretty private from everyone to be honest. Or a private as we can."
"Oh yeah, why's that?"
"We both like privacy but also because everyone has these preconceived ideas about him," Cami sighs. "And then people judge the age gap and that so I thought it was just easier keeping it under wraps for a bit at least."

Drew can tell by the way she talks that she hated the way people spoke about Pete. He didn't really have an idea who he was and couldn't picture Pete, but had definitely heard things about him at some point.

"You guys don't have that big an age gap," Drew said abruptly.
"Well I mean it's kinda big I guess, 7 years," Cami shrugs.
She was well aware that it was quite a big gap but she liked it. She liked that Pete had his life together more than people her age. Since she'd reached succession at such a young age it was obvious that most other 20 year olds couldn't relate. Whereas older guys had a better chance of relating and a more stable life that Cami liked. The age gap wasn't something she looked for but just seemed to happen.

"Well we're 7 years apart," Drew replies. "I personally think it's a good gap."
Camila just smiles at his comment.

They moved on from relationship talk for the rest of the night, talking about everything and anything before going to bed. Drew was going to go back to his but she offered the spare bedroom to him. No point in trekking down a flight of stairs when there's a bed right there.
