══════════════════ This is book 2 so if you haven't read book 1 (Ataraxia) you should. It doesn't matter that much but it'll help make everything make a bit more sense.

"Do I..."
"...know you?" She asked. Hawks frowned seeing as the girl didn't recognise her. "Oh wait, of course I know you. Your the pro hero Hawks." She said happily but it wasn't the answer he was looking for, making him visually upset. "Are you okay? You seem frustrated. Do you wanna talk about it?"
Hawks couldn't help but smile at the stranger's kindness. It reminded him of someone but yet again he didn't know who. "Do you wanna get some coffee?" He decided to offer because she was so kind to him and there was still something familiar about her. "Yeah, that sounds nice." She smiled at him making him feel warm inside, a familiar warmth that he had felt before but he didn't know from where.
"So what's your name?" He asked as the pair started to walk down the street to a nearby cafe. "(Y/n) (L/n). What's yours?"
"It's Hawks." He said as if it was blatantly obvious that his hero name is his real name. "So the name 'Hawks' is on your birth certificate?" She asked suspiciously. It's not exactly normal for a person to only have a first name and especially to be named after a bird. "I don't actually have a birth certificate anymore but if I did have one it would say Hawks." He grabbed her arm and pulled her close, picking her up bridal style. "C'mon I know a shortcut." Without giving her a second to say anything he jumped into the sky and started flying.
She immediately started screaming, wrapping her arms around his neck and burring her head in his chest. "Hawks stop! I'm gonna die!" She shouted but he just laughed at her. He was so used to flying he hadn't realised how terrifying it can be for some people. "I won't drop you kid I promise," since his hands were full carrying (Y/n) he used his head to nudge her, "just open your eyes and take a look." Reluctantly, (Y/n) slowly turned her head to see the streets flying past her below. She was a bit stiff at first but relaxed after a bit. "It- It's kinda pretty."
"It's even better at sunset. I'll show you sometime." He said in a seductive and suggestive tone. She turned to look at him and they stared into each other's eyes. Hawks was hypnotised by the glint in his eyes and she was mesmerized by his golden, glowing orbs. "We're here."
