The day went fairly quickly for (Y/n). Whilst Hawks was busy with work, she too made herself busy by cleaning around the house. She didn't have to, the house wasn't even that dirty. There was only a bit of dust here and there as well as a few misplaced items but it was good to get some cleaning out of the way before the dirt accumulates.
Once she showered, she got to work starting with upstairs. She hoovered the floors, wiped all the tables clean and put away anything that was out of place. However she didn't go into his office, not wanting to mess around with his stuff too much.
Once upstairs was somewhat clean she moved onto sorting out downstairs. It was more open plan and much easier to clean. It took almost no time at all and she quickly finished.
"God," she sighed as she slumped down on the couch, "I'm acting like a 90s house wife." She wined, exhausted from running around cleaning all morning. She checked the clock and saw that it was almost midday. Hawks would be back soon.
They were gonna go out so changing clothes would be a good idea. She changed out of the clothes she was wearing and put on something more suited for going out shopping. There wasn't much of a selection, only having to pick from Hawk's clothes that weren't quite her style or just didn't fit. Luckily, she managed to find something that looked decent enough.
She went to the mirror and took a look at the finished outfit. Good thing gender stereotypes were no longer a thing and she could wear masculine clothing without looking stupid. Makeup would've helped with the look too but she had yet to have the chance to go to her house and get her things.
She headed downstairs, having nothing else to do and awaited Hawk's arrival. It didn't take long and not even 5 minutes went by until he came through the door with a bright smile. "Hey, welcome back." (Y/n) said to him. He walked over to her, not taking his shoes off as they were about to leave in a moment and gave her a quick kiss. "What's with the pout?" He asked, noticing she wasn't her usual self. "I don't have my makeup."
