(Y/n) woke up the next day super early. She felt one of Hawk's wings wrapped tight around her telling her he had yet to get up out of bed. Slowly she turned to face him expecting to find him fast asleep but was met by his golden beady eyes, wide open and staring at her.

"Shit, your scared me," she wined still half asleep, "what are you doing up so early?" She asked him. He gently brushed a strand of her hair out of her face. "I was just enjoying your company." He said we a smile. "You know, I've noticed that you say a lot of cheesy stuff. To be honest, you're a bit of a simp." Hawks chuckled jokingly, "I wear my badge proudly," He said, "but I've noticed stuff about you two. You're a lot more grumpy in the morning."

"I don't like waking up from my sleep. Oh, and that reminds me. I should tell you," her face went dark and she glared at him with fierce hairand threatening eyes, "never wake me up when I'm sleeping. Never."

"Never?"

"Never." She said so seriously it sent shivers down his spine. "What if there was a fire?"

"Let me sleep."

"But what if the world was ending?"

"Let me sleep. Above all, no matter what, you let me sleep," she told him," besides, what really are the chances of the world ending?" She sat up and stretched, taking a deep breath and enjoying the morning air. "Well, you better get up. You have work today don't you? You go shower while I make us some breakfast, okay?" She told him as she turned to look at him with a smile, completely opposite from her threatening scowl from only a moment ago.

(Y/n) sprung up out of bed, despite complaining about waking up, and headed downstairs to cook some food. Hawks was left speechless. He had little to no clue she could be so scary however he quickly brushed it aside and headed to the bathroom to shower and get ready.

Meanwhile, (Y/n) had her hands full trying to figure out what to make. She wasn't much of a breakfast person, only eating in the morning if she had the time or felt unusually hungry. There were plenty of ingredients available to her in his kitchen so the sky's the limit with whatever she wanted to make. Out of all the possible ideas going through her head she finally came to a decision. She'd make both of them eggs. It was a basic breakfast but tasty and good for you.

"Hey Keigo!" She yelled from downstairs so loud that even the neighbours could hear her, "how do you like your eggs?!" After a few seconds, Hawks replied. "Scrambled, please."

She immediately got to making two servings of scrambled eggs along with various foods to have on the side. (I don't know how to cook so sorry for being so vague ( ^ω^ ). It didn't take long, it was a fairly simple recipe and she finished just in time for Hawks to come downstairs fully dressed in his hero costume and ready for work.

"Hey, that's smells good." He said as he sat down at the table. At the same (Y/n) placed the two plates of food onto the table. "Thanks." She replied as they dug into their food. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. I'll come back early today, a bit past lunchtime."

"Really?" She said happily, "why is that?"

"So we can go to the hero commission headquarters and apply for the witness protection. After that, I'm yours for the rest of the day."

"If you're mine for the rest of the day does that mean we can do whatever I want?" She asked with a cheeky smile. "Fine. So what are we doing?"

"We are going shopping and you're gonna hold all my bags. I need new clothes and no matter how stylish you think you are, your clothes just aren't cutting it for me." She said as she pointed to what she was wearing. At some point she you get tired of wearing oversized shirts and sweatpants. "But I like it when you wear my clothes." Hawks said with a pout. "And I like underwater and clothes that don't slowly fall down when I walk."

"You don't have underwear?"

"Yeah."

"And you clothes fall down while you walk?"

"That's what I said."

Hawks bit his lip as he couldn't help but grin widely. "If you don't mind Babybird then could you do a couple laps round the house for me?" She glared at him with an unamused glare and bright red cheeks, stained from embarrassment. "The point is, we're going shopping." She said before finishing off her food. She too both of their plates and put them in the dishwasher and turning the machine on as it was quite full.

"Thanks for the food." Hawks said as he walked up behind her and kissed her on the cheek, his hand gently resting on her waist. "That's okay."

"I gotta go now but I'll be back soon." He told her. She hummed in response. "Bye Keigo."

"By Babybird." The had a quick goodbye kiss before Hawks hurriedly left the house and flew off to work leaving her alone to entertain herself once more.

This chapter was shorter than normal but it's cause it was originally really, really long so I split it into 2.
