It's been a bit over a week since Hawks and (Y/n)'s anniversary. Everything was going really well, a bit too well. The two of them had been closer than ever and were really happy. Dabi hadn't messaged (Y/n) since and it was somehow both reassuring and worrying. She had yet to tell Hawks anything about it and was not planning to. Nothing had become of it so she assumed that there would be no need to say anything.

(Y/n) went to bed without a worry in the world. Just before she fell asleep her phone went off. She picked up her phone and found a voice message from Hawks. "Goodnight Babybird." He chirped happily through the phone. His voice was so smooth and attractive she couldn't help but smile.

She decided to send a reply. "Goodnight Keigo. Rest well." She replied and sent it to him. It wasn't long before he saw the message. She didn't wait for a reply as she turned off her phone and went to bed.

[Time Skip]

(Y/n) was woken up by her phone ringing on her bedside table. It was really early in the morning, the sun hadn't even gone up yet. She had barely any sleep and that made her really grouchy. Annoyed, she reached over and grabbed the phone to see who it was. "What."

"That's not a nice way to greet a old friend." A malicious voice said from the other side of the phone. It had been a while but (Y/n) could recognised her voice from anywhere. It was Dabi. "From that look on your face I'm sure you know who I am. Don't scream. I can see you laying in bed right now. Call for help and I'll kill you." He threatened.

To be honest it was too early for (Y/n) to process any of this. Everything he said just went in one ear and out the other. It actually made her pretty mad that she woke up for her time to be wasted. "Ugh, do you have any idea what time it is? Call me when I've had a good night sleep for your threat to be more effective. I would've been scared if I wasn't half asleep. It's kinda frustrating. I was having a good dream too." She whined.

Dabi was astonished that she had the audacity to say anything like this to him. "Listen to
me-" he snapped angrily at her only to be interrupted by (Y/n) hanging up the phone. "Honestly, the nerve of some people." She muttered as she dove back under the covers and tried to go back to sleep.
