Btw do you guys want a happy or sad ending for this story. I know book 1 had a sad ending but do you want that again or do you really want (Y/n) and Hawks to end up together.

I don't have the biggest following and probably won't get any responses but I guess that just means more of a chance for your opinion to be heard.

(Y/n) rushed into work and hurriedly put on her scrubs, ignoring her hot cheeks. She may have not realised hot red her face was but her friends certainly did notice. "So, who's the lucky guy?" Nurse Akari asked in the changing room while we got dressed in our scrubs.

"Who said there was a guy? There's no guy." (Y/n) said quickly but Akari saw right through her lies. "There's most definitely a guy. Look how red you cheeks are! Did he give you a ride to work or something?" She smirked and nudged her shoulder.

"Something like that." (Y/n) smiled subconsciously as she put in her scrubs and left to do rounds. She tried to work as quickly as possible, hoping that she will get off her shift on time. Some of the nurses wondered why she was so determined but Akari could tell it was for that mystery boy who gave her a ride today.

(Y/n) continuously stared at the clock, waiting for the hand to reach six. "Staring at it won't make it move faster." Akari said, snapping her friend out of her trance. (Y/n) brushed her hair out of the way and recollected herself before storming off to work more, and stare at the clock some more. The moment the clock struck six she ran out the hospital and rushed home to get ready.

"I can't find anything to wear!" (Y/n) shouted at herself as she dug into the deep, dark corners of her closet. She didn't know if she should be dressy or go casual or where she was even going. She was about to die out of the stress and pressure until she got a text on her phone.
