Hyeong-jun, Tae-young, Se-kwon, and Won-jin were all standing on deck, breathing in the fresh air of the sea. Hyeong-jun stood leaning his arms on the railing, basking in the view of the ocean, the sun reflecting on him. Why were they on a ship? Because the time had finally come for the school field trip! All the third-years were going to Jeju Island!
The trip on the ferry was gorgeous, even though it took quite a while. Six hours is quite some time to spend on a ship, which is also why they left extremely early, much to everybody's dismay. Needless to say, Jung-mo was hella seasick. This is also why he and Se-rim were not on the deck; Jung-mo would've definitely barfed right then and there.
"Guys, please group," Hyeong-jun signaled for the other three boys to stand together so he could take a picture.
The three quickly ran over to the railing and Hyeong-jun backed up a few steps so he could get the perfect picture of his friends and the majestic sea. He lifted the camera from around his neck and aimed the lens at the three boys, all of them scarily doing the peace sign at the same time. He let out a little chuckle as he heard the camera shutter, letting his camera down again and giving a thumbs up to signal that he took the picture.
The boys walked over towards Hyeong-jun, all wanting to see the picture. All of them grouped around him as he turned on the preview screen on his camera.
"Nice!" Se-kwon exclaimed.
"I want this framed for my birthday or something," Won-jin patted Hyeong-jun on his back. Then he and Se-kwon just started walking around on the deck, lounging in the sun. Se-kwon spread his arms out, feeling the breeze, having his I'm-the-king-of-the-world moment.
Tae-young tugged playfully on Hyeong-jun's sleeve, "The hoodie looks good on you."
Hyeong-jun's heart fluttered a little at the compliment, "Thanks."
The great thing about school trips is that the uniform isn't required. Everybody can wear whatever they want. The not-so-great thing is that it changes the rhythm that Hyeong-jun had set for himself and he forgot. He showed up at, like, 6 AM in his school uniform while everybody was lounging comfortably in their own clothes.
"Why are you wearing that?" Jung-mo asked Hyeong-jun all sluggishly, as Hyeong-jun arrived at the bus he and his class were taking. Classes 7 and 8 were sharing one bus, and since all the 3rd-years were going there were four busses total. The busses were huge. Se-rim, Jung-mo, and Tae-young were already in front of their bus, all looking tired and desperately trying not to fall asleep.
"I, uh..." Hyeong-jun grabbed his necktie, suitcase in hand, also very tired, "I guess I just put this on out of habit."
"Take something out of your bag, it's gonna be so uncomfortable sitting in a bus with a button-up shirt and a tie," Se-rim chuckled sleepily.
"Eh, I would, but I packed the bag so tightly, I just won't be able to pack it back down again," Hyeong-jun smiled, "It's fine, I'll manage. I mean, I wear this every day anyway."
"Do you want to borrow my hoodie?" Tae-young asked, causing Hyeong-jun to wake up.
His eyes widened, wondering if he had heard correctly, "Huh?"
"You can borrow my hoodie," Tae-young repeated. Before Hyeong-jun could answer, Tae-young had already begun taking off the hoodie he was wearing and handing it over to him. He felt flustered and felt his heart flutter as Tae-young stood there in a t-shirt offering his hoodie.
Hyeong-jun shyly accepted it and took it off his hands, "Thank you."
Hyeong-jun did the maneuver of putting on the hoodie first and then taking his button-up shirt and tie off underneath the hoodie. He was too shy to undress right then and there. The hoodie was nice and soft and he could feel it was of good quality. He wiggled his arms a little, feeling the jiggle of the sleeves. He started giggling at himself, causing Tae-young to give a faint little smile seeing Hyeong-jun in his clothing.
