On Sunday, Tae-young woke up naturally as the sun shone through his window. He opened his eyes and slowly looked around his room, wondering for a second why it felt different. The room looked the same, but the atmosphere seemed to have changed. And then suddenly a smile crept upon his face as he remembered what just happened before he fell asleep. How he and Hyeong-jun, after months of pining for each other, finally found their way together. He started grinning largely, letting out small giggles of joy. His brain started replaying the kiss they had yesterday, making his heart flutter just by thinking back. Without intending to, he caught himself kicking his feet into his bed out of excitement, nearly squealing like a little kid. He then immediately felt embarrassed for doing that. But it was okay because no other emotion could become stronger than the happiness he felt with Hyeong-jun.
Today, he decided to visit Hyeong-jun's apartment for the first time. He kind of needed to get out, the vibe of his living room still felt suffocating after the dinner he had with his father. Besides, now that they were officially more than friends, he couldn't stay away from Hyeong-jun without instantly missing him. He also hadn't been to his apartment before, so he was excited to see how he lived.
Hyeong-jun also woke up in an instantly good mood. Thinking back to the moments they shared yesterday, he put his hand to his heart and instantly felt it beating more rapidly. He could practically feel his face go red. And as soon as Tae-young asked if he could come over today, he instantly said yes. He had to admit that he also missed him already. He was just sitting on the sofa, waiting for the buzzer to make a sound. He felt like a puppy.
At the sound of the buzzer, Hyeong-jun eagerly shot up from the couch and walked over to the machine. He stood with a nervous smile, hesitating to push the button that would open the door. But he quickly pressed it, almost giggling as he could feel Tae-young's presence near him. He started taking small steps around to let out some of his energy, but it didn't help, because the closer Tae-young got, the more lively he felt.
And then there was a knock on the door, causing Hyeong-jun's smile to grow bigger. He opened the door with his heart beating wild with happiness and love. The very sight of Tae-young made him feel grateful.
"Hi," his voice shook a little from excitement.
"Hey," Tae-young smiled, before instantly wrapping his arms around Hyeong-jun, and pulling him into a hug. The embrace was warm and caring, Tae-young slowly stroking down Hyeong-jun's back with his fingers. "I missed you."
"It's been like 12 hours," Hyeong-jun chuckled as he loosened the hug to face him, their arms still softly linked around each other's backs. He looked into Tae-young's eyes and his smile fell softer, "I missed you too."
Tae-young instantly smiled as he heard those words, feeling his heart pound. He moved his hands to cup Hyeong-jun's face and gave him a quick kiss on the forehead to show his love. However, Hyeong-jun playfully pouted, putting his index finger on his lips as to ask why he didn't kiss him there instead.
Tae-young couldn't help but giggle. His gaze fell soft looking at Hyeong-jun, constantly feeling his heartbeat grow. He leaned in closer as he shut his eyes, and felt his chest grow warmer as their lips touched, being able to feel Hyeong-jun's soft exhales tickle his nose. Those lips always felt incredibly soft as they seemed to move perfectly in sync with his own. The feeling of Hyeong-jun gently moving his hands to the back of Tae-young's head made him feel like he was floating. And only once Hyeong-jun felt a little out of breath, the kiss stopped.
As their faces slowly separated, Hyeong-jun nuzzled his nose gently up against Tae-young's. His heart couldn't stop fluttering and had a soft gaze as he slowly looked him in the eyes.
"I'm so lucky," he spoke so quietly it almost sounded like a whimper.
Tae-young softly chuckled at that comment, shaking his head, before quickly giving him a quick peck on the lips, his head and heart full of love. He noticed Hyeong-jun's cheeks flush which only made his chest feel warmer. He looked into the apartment, noticing that nobody else was around. He slowly removed his arms off of Hyeong-jun, "Where's your sister?"
