The only cell Unikitty remembered was Richard's. She knew exactly where it was. She ran over to his cell and started banging on the door. "Rick! It's me!"
"Not so loud!" Brock exclaimed. "You're going to get us all caught!"
She stopped. "Oh, right." She looked back at the door. "Richard! Can you hear me?"
"Yeah." Her friend's dull voice responded from the other side.
"Great! We're going to get you out." She turned back to face Brock. "Do you know how to open the door?"
Brock shook his head. "I only knew how to get you out, but not everyone else..."
"Umm..." She stopped. "Wait..." She looked back at the door. "Rick! You can float through walls, remember?"
He sighed, then phased through the wall and looked at her with his normal deadpanned expression. "I should have thought of that a while ago..."
"Rick!" She exclaimed, hugging her friend. "I'm so glad it's you! Now, come on, we've gotta get the others!"
They both ran across the hall, where Puppycorn was being held. Unikitty knocked on the door. "Bro?"
A quiet voice then responded, "Sis?"
"Lil' bro! Oh, thank goodness you're alright! Uhh..." Unikitty looked at Brock and Richard. "Brock, how did you get my cell door open?"
"Master Frown has a special code to get into each of your cells. I only know yours..."
"How did you know my code?"
"I heard him talking about it."
"Great." She turned back and looked at Puppycorn's cell. "Uhh..."
"Wait, I've got an idea!" Brock exclaimed. He grabbed Unikitty's paws. "Follow me!"
He led them to the very end of the corridor, then stopped once he reached a door a certain door. He inserted a code in the number pad next to it and it opened.
The room had a giant monitor in the back, which had nine smaller screens showing the security camera feedback from inside all of the cells.
"Whoa..." Unikitty gaped.
"Frown showed me this place once." Brock stated. He walked over to the monitor, and pushed a button, the screens switching views.
"Wait." She pointed to the screen in the right corner. "That's Puppycorn's cell."
"Cell Twenty-Seven." Brock stated. "You go get your brother, I'll get it open." He handed her a walkie-talkie. "I'll contact you when I get the other cells open.
Unikitty nodded, then darted over to where Puppycorn was being held. The door slowly opened as she neared it. She ran inside, then squeezed her brother tight. "Lil' bro!" She exclaimed.
"Sis!" He hugged her back, smiling. "I thought I was never going to see you again..."
"Don't worry, I'd never let that happen." She kissed him on the cheek, and they both exited his cell quickly.
Brock shut the door afterward. "Go to Cell Fifty-Two." He stated. "That's where Hawkodile is."
"Cell Fifty-Two." She repeated. "Got it." She began searching through all the cell numbers, but stopped when she reached the cell where her bodyguard being held.
The door slowly (and quietly) opened. She saw her friend sitting in the corner of the cell, his knees pulled to his chest and his head down.
"Hawkodile...?"
He looked up at her, his eyes going wide. "Princess?"
"Hawkodile!" She ran up to him and wrapped her arms around him. He did so as well, his eyes welling up with tears of joy.
She grabbed his boxing glove and helped him up. Puppycorn raced up to him. "Hawk!" He exclaimed. Hawkodile ruffled his fur, smiling. "Heya, champ."
Richard hovered in as well. "There's still one person left for us to help." He stated.
"Oh! Right! Brock, do you know where Dr. Fox's cell is?"
"It's right there." Hawkodile said, pointing to the wall. "I was talking to her earlier today."
"So she's alright?"
"I think so. C'mon, let's hurry."
The four raced over to their friend's cell, the door slowly creaking open. Dr. Fox was standing in the corner, banging her head against the wall.
"Think, Dr. Fox, think..." She muttered to herself. "Doc?" Unikitty said. Fox turned around to look at her. "Unikitty...?"
Unikitty gave her a gentle hug, then turned to face the rest of her friends. "Alright, now that we have everyone, I've gotta tell you my plan."
"Plan? What plan?" Puppycorn asked.
"My plan to save the kingdom."
"How?" Dr. Fox asked. "Do we kick him off the planet and take control over the kingdom again?"
"Or do we have an epic showdown between us and the Doom Lords, then put them all in jail when we've won?" Hawkodile added.
"What if we capture them all, take the kingdom back, then put them in jail?" Puppycorn suggested.
"No." Unikitty simply stated. Everyone stared, confused.
"What?" Richard finally questioned.
"This all happened because we didn't truly understand Frown." She explained. "We tried to force him to be happier, and it ruined the kingdom. Then we tried to fight him, and it nearly got us all separated from each other. I think this whole time he just..." She looked up at them. "Needed some friends."
Everyone kept staring. "Ew!" Puppycorn then exclaimed. "But he's such a jerk all the time!"
"True. He's a HUGE jerk. But, maybe with the power of good, old-fashioned friendship, Master Frown wouldn't be such a jerk!"
"I don't know, princess..." Hawkodile said. "Master Frown hates us. Do you really think he'd want to be our friend?"
"Don't you see?" She questioned, stepping closer to her friends. "He wanted to get promoted, just so he could be friends with all of the Doom Lords. But, the Doom Lords don't waste their time on things like friendship. Therefore, he'll have no friends. But that's all he wants..." She looked at them. "Let's just try it, okay? I think it might actually work."
Dr. Fox shrugged. "It's worth a shot."
"I guess we could try it..." Hawkodile agreed.
"We don't have much time left, so I'm in." Richard stated.
"Me too!" Puppycorn exclaimed cheerfully.
"Alrighty, then." She turned away from them. "Let's go make an enemy into a friend."
