(I told you you'd be confused if you didn't read the last chapter of the book. Only one person that I know of read it. So... sorry. But if nobody read it, even after I posted the chapter in all caps saying that you'd be confused as heck if you didn't read it, then I guess no one cares about this story. So I doubt anyone is going to read this random chapter. But... enjoy, I guess?)
Although everybody thought he was sleeping, Puppycorn was wide awake, staring at the ceiling. He couldn't help but think about his sister and everything that happened to her.
He remembered seeing her through the hologram. It pained him to see her torn up like that. He wanted to start sobbing, but refused to.
His breath shortened and his heart pounded in his chest. He sat up straight, looking at his friends.
Dr. Fox was asleep in Hawkodile's arms. Richard was hovering close to them, also snoring. He then imagined Unikitty laying next to the three of them. He imagined the gang back together. It hurt him even more.
The prince stood up, brushing some dust off his fur. He slowly began walking away from the base, trying to calm his thoughts.
"Sis..." He said quietly. His eyes filled with tears. "Sis... why can't you come back?"
He stopped once he got to the exit to the pipes. He was tempted to climb out and run to the castle to help his sister, but had to stop himself. After all, it'd probably just get himself killed.
He fell to his knees, covering his face in his paws. "Sis... please come back to us..." He said quietly as he started to sob. "Sis... sis, come back..."
He started crying harder. "Sis... I love you... I promise, I do... come back..." His voice quavered. "Please..."
"Puppycorn...?" A familiar voice said. He turned around to face his little robot friend standing a few feet away from him.
"Puppycorn!" Gizmo rolled up to him quickly. "You know you shouldn't be this far away from everybody! You're only little!"
"Well, I'm tired of being little!" He snapped back. "Now, go away, you stupid robot! Leave me alone!" He turned away from the robot and started crying again.
Gizmo just stared at him for a few minutes as he sobbed. It wasn't long before she figured out why.
"Is this because of Unikitty?" She asked softly, rolling closer to him. He looked down at the floor. "Yes..." He said, almost at a whisper.
She sat down next to him, putting her small robotic hand on his back comfortingly. "I'm sure she misses you..."
Puppycorn gently shook his head. "No... she doesn't..." He sniffled. "She hates me..."
"What?" Gizmo cocked her head to one side. "That's impossible! You're her little brother! She loves you more than anything in the world! What makes you say she doesn't miss you?"
"I... I..." He burst into tears again. "I heard her say it!" He sobbed. "She said we all hated her!"
"That can't be right." The robot argued. "She would never say that..."
"She did... and I was there to witness it..." He covered his face in his tiny paws and started crying harder.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked quietly.
"I was in the castle with Richard, trying to rescue her." He explained. "Even though Rick didn't want to, I convinced him to let us split up. I was the one that found her. Well, sort of. But when I found her, she was in a cell... alone... and crying..." He wiped some of the tears off his face. "It wasn't real. Frown said it was a holo-something."
"Hologram?"
"Yeah. That's it. But, I could hear what she was saying..." He paused. "She said she didn't love me anymore... because I didn't love her..." He started sobbing again, this time a bit quieter.
"Frown is messing with her." Gizmo stated. "He's gotta be. That's the only logical explanation..."
"I heard her say it..." Puppycorn continued crying. "She said 'I hate my lil' bro and he hates me. We'll never be together again'..."
She squeezed him tightly, hoping to calm him. "Don't think that. Frown's just messing with her."
"But what if she's not?" He argued. "What if she really does hate me, and what if we never see each other again?"
"Why would she hate you?" She asked back. "You're her family. Besides, what has she ever done to show that she hates you?"
He didn't respond.
"She's helped you in more ways than one. She's comforted you when you're sad. She's helped you make friends. She's stood up to you whenever you've been bullied. She's been by your side your entire life... she doesn't hate you..."
Gizmo looked down at the ground. "Being an older sibling is an important responsibility, especially when you don't have parents." She stated. "You kinda take custody of your younger brothers and sisters. You act as if you are their parents and give them lots of love. And, if you only have one younger sibling, they mean the world to you..." I turned back to face him. "Unikitty still loves you. I know she does."
"How do you know that?" He asked.
Gizmo sighed. "Because I was once an older sister, too."

Gizmo stood towards the back of the room, cataloging the experiments on one of Dr. Fox's many shelves. A smaller robot stood next to her, waving his arms in the air. "Sis, I have something really cool to show you! Just follow me!"
"Not now, bro." Gizmo simply responded.
"Oh, come on! Please?"
"Maybe later."
The small robot moaned. "But sis! You always say that!"
Gizmo bent down to the small robot's level. "Don't worry, Robs. I'll go check it out later, okay?"
"Fine." He mumbled, folding his arms upsettingly.
"Hurry, guys!" A voice exclaimed. Unikitty and her four friends then rushed into the lab as fast as they could.
"Dr. Fox, hook onto the security cameras before it's too late!" The princess exclaimed. She flew into the room so fast that she knocked over the smaller robot, who fell into Gizmo's arms.
"What's going on?" A few of the other robots in the lab asked. The security cameras flicked on.
"Gloomy birthday to me... hopeless birthday to me..." A voice then sang from one end of the security cameras.
"There he is!" Unikitty pointed to the screen. "Master Frown!"
Puppycorn turned to face her. "Uh, what are we doing again?"
"Didn't you know?" His sister asked. "Today's Master Frown's birthday! And we're going to give him the best birthday EVER!"
"Birthday?" The small robot repeated, confused. He turned to face Gizmo. "What's a birthday?"
"It's when others celebrate the day of their birth." Gizmo explained. "But, since we're just robots, we don't have a date of birth. Therefore we don't have birthdays."
"Oh." The little robot looked down at the ground. "But why? I bet birthdays would be super fun."
"Because, Robbie, we're robots." Gizmo repeated. He looked up at her, still a bit sad. She just sighed.
"Robots don't have birthdays. People do. And we aren't people."
"I wish I wasn't a robot sometimes..." He mumbled.
"Me too." Gizmo said, putting her hand on his shoulder.
"Me too..."
