'I need to find Kyle, I'm getting a bad feeling about this...'

Apple pulled her skirt up to her knees to pick up speed.

'If only I were as fast as Cerise, I would have been off the school grounds by now,' she thought to herself.

Every second could be critical if Kyle were in actual danger. With his growing powers, he should be more than capable of defending himself. Magic is his special ally, but he can't control it yet.

"Apple!"

Rosabella Beauty, the daughter of Beauty and the Beast and Daring's girlfriend, was blocking the princess's path.

"What is it, Rosabella? I don't mean to be rude, but I'm in a bit of a hurry," Apple said, her tone betraying her rush.

Rosabella hesitated for a moment, and Apple could clearly see that her urgency had taken Rosabella by surprise.

"I'll make it fast. We are having an issue, and we need our Co-Student Body President to help."

'Oh hex... I forgot I was a part of that...'

Apple had been so busy planning out the possible routes for her and Kyle to take, she forgot about the here and now. Apple wasn't free yet, she still needs to play this role.

"We need to decorate for our final thronecoming dance, and we need another Royal's help."

Quickly shifting her body, Apple slipped past her. "Have Cerise Hood and Maddie Hatter take my place on the decorating committee."

Rosabella reaches out, managing to take a hold of Apple's arm.

'Why was she being persistent? Was I this annoying towards Raven about following our destinies?' Apple kept questioning herself.

Apple need to remind herself to treat Raven for putting up with her bs.

"Apple, you know non-Royals can't help decorate for events like that. We need you. You are our leader. What's going on with you? You've changed."

Apple jolted her arm away from Rosabella's grasp. The nearby birds fluttering above, lowered their positions. Apple gently waved her hand at them, telling them that she didn't need rescuing.

"My life is no one's concern, besides, that's a stupid rule that needs to change regardless of my opinion. As one of the presidents, I hereby grant anyone that wants to help permission to do so. Anyone with complaints can answer to me! If I hear that any of the Royals are taking it out on the Rebels, they will be ever after sorry."

Apple quickly made her way out of there. She knew it wasn't 'princess-like' to rush someone off in a rude manner, but Apple didn't care. She needed to find Kyle, she needed tell him that in time that they will be together. The moment graduation is over, that they would be together forever after.

Entering the enchanted forest, a certain red poof-ball hat caught the princess's attention through the tall grass.

"Stan!"

He quickly turns around to see Apple approach him along with the other boys.

"Apple, I thought you were going to wait for Kyle back at Ever After High." He asked.

Apple shook her head.

"I got tired of waiting, so I decided to join you guys."

She surveys the surroundings.

"I'm guessing you didn't have much luck either," Apple said, a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Unfortunately, so." Stan replied, exhaling deeply.

Apple noticed the familiar birds from before and hummed a soft tune, beckoning them closer. One bird perched on top of Stan's head, while another settled on Cartman's shoulder.

"What the-Hey! Get the fuck off of me!" Cartman shooed it away.

Shaken, the bird follows instructions and soars past Kenny. In a twist of fate, the bird's shadow prompts Kenny to glance upward just as it leaves an unexpected gift on his face. Cartman couldn't contain his laughter, pointing at the unwelcome droplet hanging from Kenny's lip. Sympathetic, Apple offers her handkerchief to Kenny for cleanup. Meanwhile, the final bird lands on her fingers, gently bobbing its head as if to say sorry for its friend's mishap.

"Don't worry little one, Princess Kenny knows you're sorry."

"It better be! I'm a kawaii princess too! A princess doesn't deserve that kind of treatment!" Kenny crossed his arms. Rolling her eyes, Apple raises the bird to her face to give it specific instructions.

"Kyle Broflovski, the next Elven King has gone missing, and I need your help to find him. He has red curly hair, green eyes and wearing a green hat with an orange coat. Can you please help me? He means so dearest to me. I don't know what I'd do without him...," pleaded Apple.

The bird gives the princess a gentle peck on the cheek with its tiny beak and leads the way, with the other birds closely following behind.

"Let's just hope your little search party works," Kenny said, returning the handkerchief to her.

Stan readjusted the books in his arms, which seemed out of place in the land of Ever After.

"Hey Stan, what are those books for?" the princess asked.

Stan took one of the books he was holding and handed it to Apple.

"We were trying to do a bit of research to figure out why Kyle's anger is making his powers go a little haywire. These were all the books we could find about elven heritage." He informed.

Apple opened one of the books while Kenny took hold of the others. The book had an antique appearance and was quite heavy. As she examined the pages, she found none that discussed losing control of powers. Throughout all the stories Apple had studied in Ever After, she had encountered only one about an elf. Now, they worked for Baba Yaga, solely crafting shoes. They were as tiny as mice, communicating only in squeaks, barely able to sustain a conversation. Apple was fairly certain they wouldn't be able to help Kyle.

"I'm sorry I can't be of much help either... The only story with elves here is 'The Elves and the Shoemaker,'" Apple sighed.

Clutching the book to her chest, Apple lowered her head. A princess should not weep over challenges a hero could handle, yet she couldn't contain her tears. Kyle had vanished, all because she had pushed him away. Feeling a weighty hand upon her back, Apple turned to find Cartman offering comfort.

"Hey, don't sweat it princess, I'm sure Kahl's just cooling off. He should be fine. He is our little monster after all."

Apple nodded; her hopeful smile interrupted by loud chirping. The sound was alarming, stirring unease in her stomach. A bird landed on her finger, flapping its wings toward the direction it urged them to follow. Grasping her skirt with her free hand, she hastened to keep pace with the boys leading the way.

"Kyle, please be alright..."
