I rushed to the phone and dialed the number of the house phone to call my parents. (Oblique sentence is the other person on the phone)
Somebody picked up the phone immediately,
''Katie?'' My mothers voice said worried
''Yea, yea, before you ask im fine im at a friends.''
''oh thank god honey, we thought you got kidnapped or something.''
''No, no, im fine, i will explain later what happend.''
''I think i already know what happend, sweetheart.''
''What?''
''The arrested your brother, he did the same to me and your dad when we came home..''
''Omg, mom are you okay'' i said with a worried look on my face, what Nikki noticed.
''yea honey, im fine, and your that too.''
I let out a sigh ''thank god, i will be home soon.''
''okay honey, be safe''
And with that she hung up.
I let out a sigh and turned to the table were the boys sat.
''He got arrested'' i said
''Wait, who?'' Tommy and Nikki said in sync,
''My brother dumbasses, he did the same to my parents.''
''Are they okay?'' Nikki asked
''Yea, yea, they're fine'' i said while sitting next to him and Tommy in front of us.
''Okay, thats good'' Tommy said with a smile.
We ate our food and then just sat on the couch watching tv.
I looked at the time and saw that it was already 5 in the evening, so i decided that it was maybe a good idea to go home.
''Hey, i gotta go home now.'' I said to the boys.
''Nooooo, whyyyyy?'' Tommy whined, with a beer in his hand.
''Because, i gotta eat at home and have school tomorrow.'' I said with a laugh.
''Do you need to go to school tomorrow?'' Nikki said while laying his head on my lap so i cant stand up,
''Yess, i need to go, 'cause i got a very important test, so now get off, thank you.'' I said while softly slapping his cheeks.
''Fine, i will bring you home, but im gonna pick you up from your preppy high school tomorrow.'' He said with a smile.
''Pick me up?'' I said with a confused look.
''Well yea, because there are auditions tomorrow and you gotta be there to help, duh.'' He said with a eye roll and a laugh.
''Fine just pick me up then around 2.'' I said
''Yea okay, Tommy get up your coming with.'' He said while pointing to Tommy.
''me?'' Tommy said confused.
''No, the other Tommy behind you.'' I said while he looked behind him confused ''omg, no we mean you dipshit.'' I said with a laugh.
''Oh yea, makes sense.'' He said while getting up.
After about a 15 minute ride we were at my house,
''Wow, wow, wow, wait this is your house, Katie?'' Tommy said with wide eyes.
''Yea, well, thanks for letting me stay over and stuff.'' I said to Nikki while getting out of the car.
''Yea, yea, no problem.'' He said with a smile.
''Okay, so see you guys tomorrow.'' I said with a smile.
''Byeeee'' they both said while driving away.
I laughed a little and got inside of my house.
