Unbeknownst to him, Doctor Strange stepped through a portal right into his living room. The Sorcerer Supreme took a look around the young man's apartment; not much worth writing home about.

Y/N stepped into the living room, having settled on a regular button up shirt with the pants and shoes to match. And there he found one of his new teachers scoping out his place.
Y/N: Okay, this has to be an invasion of privacy. Technically, I'd even call it B&E.
Doctor Strange: We can discuss "crime" another time. Everyone's waiting for us, so let's cut their wait time down.
A portal opened to reveal a rather extravagant looking foyer. Sounds of a party could be heard further down the hall.
Y/N: Seriously, Doc? Ever heard of knocking?
Doctor Strange just waved it off and started walking, Y/N not too far behind.
Y/N: So, what? You got friends in high places?
Doctor Strange: Yes, actually. Where we're heading right now is the Dining Room. Sounds like everyone he invited is here.
Y/N: He?
Doctor Strange: What, hoping for a she?
Y/N: I mean, I wouldn't say no if that had been the case.
Doctor Strange: Consider yourself lucky. Better not get distracted when we get started.
Y/N got....sort of distracted hearing who would join. But, if he heard right-
Y/N: We? You're taking me as a student?
Doctor Strange: Once Yen Sid helps you a bit, I do want to take you in. I believe teaching you more than one form of magic could give you an edge.
The duo walked through a pair of doors into a room set with a table, several chairs, and people conversing. The chatter stopped when Y/N stepped in.
??: Master Strange! You both made it, and just in time, might I add.
