Two weeks later
Arendelle

It was another chilly February day in the small Nordic kingdom. A blazing fire kept a certain queen's office nice and warm. Behind her desk, Anna passed off the last bit of paperwork for the day, a sigh of relief leaving her lips.

Anna: Finally! Now! That's out of the way-

She was interrupted by a chime from her computer. Right on time! She clicked on the call icon. A woman with a platinum blonde French braid appeared on the screen.

Anna: Elsa!! Good to see you again!!

Anna: Elsa!! Good to see you again!!

Elsa: You too, Anna! You still okay in Arendelle?

Anna: Oh, you know, the usual. It keeps busy, Olaf stays curious as ever. How about your farm and the Northuldra?

Elsa: Same old, same old. Honeymaren recently left for the northern border with Gale. Ryder says Sven really misses you. You'll have to come and visit again soon. Speaking of, how are you?

Anna: I am tooootally fine!

Elsa knew whenever Anna extended her words like that, it was a lie. She moved past it for now, but they'll come back around.

Elsa: That's my girl! Now, Valentine's Day came and went. I imagine you had a great time with all of those suitors.

The monarch's mood quickly soured. Elsa's answer was a groan and roll of the eyes.

Anna: Turned down all four of 'em.

Elsa: Wow. That's a new record, Anna.

She knew what Elsa was up to. Gotta be careful. Can't say too much.

Anna: Is it just too much to ask for someone to be interested in me? They're just politicians who only want to marry me as "a benefit to their alliance."

Elsa: Ah, the usual ones trying to line their pockets. Like those from The Southern Isles.

Anna groaned again and rested her head on her folded arms.

Anna: Don't get me started. The Westergaards are still under the impression that I've got to like one of their hellspawn!

Elsa: They should know by now, no means no. Their economy is in shambles, and constantly asking for your hand won't fix that.

Anna: Welp! Not my problem!

Elsa: But, there's one you're not telling me.

And now they're coming back to it.

Anna winced behind her smile. She knew Elsa had her dead to rights. Her sister was the bestest friend she could ask for. They've always been there for each other (at least, much closer in the past few years).
