It was finally our week off. Meaning no school for a week. I decided to book a long awaited getaway. To Miyako-jima. Which had a hot spring. I'd heard from someone that hot springs are perfect for healing. Me, Reki, Langa and Miya all decided to meet up at the docks. Once I got there, bag trailing behind me, I genuinely didn't expect Shadow there as well. But he was there.

"Shadow? Why'd you come?" I ask.

"Someone needs to be the responsible adult." He says.

Me. Reki. Langa. And Miya just started laughing at him. Joe is a more trustworthy adult then he is. And half the time he walks around shirtless. I guess Cherry is a better example actually. He seems to be the more trustworthy one. At least he's always fully dressed.

I headed over to them, boarding the ferry. Thing was, I'd never been on a boat before. And I had motion sickness. I used to travel all the time. Almost every week. But that was by car. Not boat. Obviously, I didn't tell them that. Once on board, I just decided I was not going to stay on deck. I think Reki noticed I wasn't staying and followed after me.

You try being on a yacht when sailing through a cat 4 storm at sea. I think it was cat 4. The boat was literally swaying back and forth. But, I fell asleep through another storm. On a yacht. So...

"Phoenix! Where ya off to? Stay on the deck with us!" Reki asks.

"I err I think I'll stay back here." I say.

"Huh? Why?" Reki asks.

"No reason." I say.

Reki shrugs it off and heads back to the deck.

I wonder why she's so adamant of staying back there. I headed out onto the deck and noticed Joe. Stood there. With two ladies clinging to him. Great.

"Hey Joe! I have a question for you!" I shout.

The girls then walked off and I headed over to him.

"What?" He said.

"It's about Y/N." I say.

"She's here? Where?" Joe says.

"Inside." I reply.

"Inside? Oh... she said something once about motion sickness?" Joe says.

"Huh?" I say, not getting it.

"When you get sick on like long car rides. Or boat rides." He explains.

"That makes so much more sense." I reply.

"Wait, but if she has motion sickness wouldn't it be better for her to be on the deck?" I ask.

"Yeah." Joe says.

I went off looking for Y/N when I eventually found her. She was by herself at a table.

"Hey. Why you down here?" Reki asks me.

"I don't like long rides. I don't even know why I booked to come here." I reply.

"Motion sickness?" Reki asks me.

"Yeah. How did you know?" I say.

"Joe told me." Reki says.

"Now come on, everyone's waiting on deck for you." Reki says.

"Reki... am I... a burden for you and Langa now?" I ask.

"Wha- what do you mean?" Reki asks.

"Well I can't do anything... I'm injured again... and I knew about Adam but didn't say anything... I couldn't even stop him from hurting you." I say, looking up at him all teary eyed.
