New chapter! Miss me? It's been a week. Whoops. I had trouble watching the last episode of Sk8. Hehe. Well, here is the chapter. I hope you enjoy!

~Your POV:~
Today was the day. Langa's match against Adam. And the first time I've attended S with Reki as my boyfriend. I was still adjusting to life with a boyfriend. I wasn't used to it. But I had one wish. One thing I wish could happen. One thing I wish could've happened. I wished my mother and father could've seen him. Met him. Gotten to know him. But that wasn't going to happen sadly.

Currently, Reki was detailing Langa's board in preparation for tonight's beef. The last beef of the tournament Adam proposed.

"It's finally happening tonight. Your beef against Adam." Reki said, focusing on Langa's board.

"Yeah." Langa said, sweeping the floor.

"Did you think of anything? A strategy perhaps?" I asked.

"So, why is Adam skating?" Langa said, dodging the question.

"Huh?" Reki asked, looking up from the board.

Sketchy decided now would be the opportune moment to bite Reki's hand, causing him to yelp slightly from the bite. That fennec fox is way too sassy for its own good.

"Why are you suddenly asking that?" Reki said, holding his hand.

"They said he was all by himself, right?" Langa said, pausing the sweeping he was doing.

"With his personality, it doesn't surprise me." I comment.

"It's kinda been stuck in my mind." Langa said as Reki inspected the board.

He stopped inspecting the board, placing it back on the workbench and looking at Langa.

"You know, it's gotta be... because it's fun." Reki said.

"Is there any other reason for you to skate?" I ask.

"Right." Langa agreed.

Since it was after work, we all left the shop and headed to meet up with the others. In Cherry's car. We all got in, me calling shotgun. Reki and Langa in the back because there weren't enough seats. Miya and Shadow in the middle. And Joe following behind on his motorbike.

"Your injuries have healed already?" Miya asked Shadow.

"I can't just be sleeping it off in a hospital." Shadow replied.

"Agreed." Cherry chimed in.

"So? Does Langa have a chance of winning?" Shadow asked.

"He had a good shot in the last beef the other day." Miya commented.

"Even still... I think the chance is slim." I add.

"But Adam wasn't seriously skating back then." Cherry commented.

"He wasn't?" Miya remarked, a little shocked.

"Have you guys seen Adam when he's serious, then?" Shadow asked.

"We haven't. Not even once." Cherry answered.

"Unless he was serious when he raced my mother and father." I add.

"He never had the need to show what he can do when he's serious." Cherry said, gripping the steering wheel.

"Here. This is your board." I could hear Reki say.

"My board..." Langa trailed off.

"Yep, awesome. Gotta hand it to you, Reki!" Langa praised.

"Hey, do you remember when you first skated?" Reki asked.
