~Your POV:~
Flashback to end of Cherry's race:
Adam was stood in front of Cherry who was lying on the floor. I watched as Joe ran off towards him as I watched from the screen but could still hear everything.

"Kaoru! Hey, get a grip on yourself!" Joe called out.

"I thought I could have a little fun... but Cherry was really boring." Adam said.

"Adam, you son of a-" Joe started.

"Hop on!" Shadow interrupted.

"Right now, it's more important to get to a hospital!" Shadow adds.

Joe picked up Cherry and headed to Shadow's car. I was stood near Miya, watching from the monitor.

"Langa!" I called out when I saw Langa holding his board.

"Miya! Phoenix! Have you seen Reki?" Langa asked.

"Reki was here?" I say, slightly shocked. I didn't think he was coming.

"I'm sure he was here. I heard his "Langa" while I was skating." Langa explained.

"Maybe he ran away..." Miya said, tilting his head to the side.

"...because he doesn't wanna see you." Miya finished.

"You're in my way. I'm about to start my run now." Miya said, walking straight past Langa and I.

"But make sure to bring him to the next beef even if you have to put a rope around his neck." Miya adds, still not facing us. "I wanna show that slime the moment where I'm crowned champion." He says, turning to face us.

Miya headed off to the start line as he was going against Snake. I wasn't sure who was going to win. I wanted to root for Miya but I was curious about Tadashi since he skated very closely to Adam. He skates like he was the one that taught Adam. But, he was.

"That skating is..." Langa paused.

"Mhm. He taught Adam how to skate." I finish.

"How do you know?" Langa asks.

"I found out when I went to Adam's house once. Well, more like I had no choice but to go." I reply.

Present day:
I was sat at home, eating breakfast at the table by myself. I couldn't help but think about Reki. He hadn't been at S in a while either. I was starting to wonder if he was ever coming back. He was the reason I started skating. Yet he never showed anymore. It seemed as if him and Langa had a falling out. So Reki wasn't talking to him at all.

I decided to just head to school but I noticed Reki wasn't there. He didn't come at all. He must've decided not to come in since he didn't want to face Langa. Is it the same with me?

After school went on for what felt like forever, I headed to the skate shop with Langa. But Reki wasn't there. It was just Oka-san and the fox. Plus me and Langa but we had just arrived.

"Time off?" I asked.

"Yeah. He said he was gonna take a bit of time off. You haven't heard from Reki?" Oka-san says as he stops unpacking a box.

"Not at all." Langa says, looking down.

"No. I haven't." I add.

"He's agonising in his own way right now. Leave him alone for now." Oka-san says.

I sighed, not really wanting to leave the conversation as it was. But what choice did I have? So I decided to just take my leave from the shop and go for a walk. He's probably gone to the ramen shop me and him always used to go to. I started skating towards that direction and soon found him, calling out his name.
