"Ne.. Y/N…" Minjeong called as she kept nudging you on the shoulders. 

"You can't keep acting like this forever you know."

"What if i said i can? *sigh* What's the point."

You felt yourself becoming more and more worthless as you sat on top of her bedroom, feeling heartbroken after being rejected for who knows how much. Minjeong, who's next to you, is currently trying to console you, trying to put yourself that's broken into pieces back to its place.

Flashback

Y/N I'm sorry, but I have something coming up. My mom asked me to go with her and help bring her stuff. I’m gonna have to cancel our date today. Next time, okay?

You sighed at the message sent by the one you’re currently making a move on, Yoo Jimin. 

‘This is the fifth time she’s cancelled our date. *sigh* And I’m already set…’ You sent her a message telling her that it’s fine and just take care of her own stuff as you laid back down on your bed. 

‘Is she really interested in me? I mean, we’ve been talking everyday. But just talking isn’t enough though. Kinda weird how she’s only busy when i ask her out. Well she has been slow in giving me a reply as of late. Probably she’s starting to get busier from her uni stuff.

"Ah." She mouthed as if surprised seeing you out here being alone.  Thoughts were starting to fill up your mind as to why she could've been out here. 'Ah, she must be waiting for her mom.' That thought was quickly blown away when a man started calling her not far from you, as she started to panic. It was then you realized that she wasn't out with her mom. She was out with someone else.

"Y-Y/N? What're you doing here?" Her face could be seen slowly panicking trying hard to not turn around.

"I was just walking around the town. And it looks like your sudden plan you mentioned to me earlier was cancelled, huh?" The boy's voice turned louder as he kept facing her way, telling her that she needed to hurry. 

"Well you better get going. Someone's calling for you." You said weakly as you turned your back, about to walk away from the scene.

“W-Wait! Y/N!” She called out to you as you turned once more in response to her.

“It’s okay, Jimin-ah. I won’t bother you anymore. Sorry for being annoying all this time by asking you out on a date. Have a nice day."

You proceeded to leave the place as you felt your eyes getting watery. You quickly opened your phone and typed in your best friend's name, Minjeong.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Minjeong-ah. Can I come to your place? Right now?"

"I can't believe this. Do you really like her that much? Ya. You used to just move on from situations like this. What's holding you back from doing it now?" She said annoyingly as you rested your head back on your knee.

"I don't know, Minjeong-ah. Maybe it was because of the fact that she was the only one who's nice to me in return, that I thought she must've been interested in me. Turns out it was only me who's falling for her. *sigh* I'm pathetic."

"No you're not. Hey. Listen to me. Just think of her as one of the girls before, okay? Get back on your feet, Y/N. I hate seeing you like this."

"I can't." You replied shortly as you sighed once more. "Looks like I will never find the one for me." 

You kept your head low, feeling as if your world's crumbling by the second. Just then, you felt your head being lifted up as the next thing you knew, your lips were already connected with hers. You felt startled by the event being unable to move. Few seconds later, she let go of the kiss as she kept her face close to you.

"What about me, Y/N? Can't you look at me for just a second? Please? I'm here for you, you know that right? If you can't ever find the one for you, I'm here. Because I love you, Y/N. I have always been in love with you. The fact that i still love you even after your countless attempts on making moves on girls just makes me feel worthless." You felt baffled by her sudden confession as you sat there, stunned. The thought of Minjeong being in love with you never even crossed your mind once, thinking that all she ever did to you was just out of care of a friend.

"M-Minjeong-ah. I-I didn't know you have that kind of feeling towards me. All this time i just thought you cared for me because i'm your friend."

"You are! You are my friend. A friend who i've fallen in love with deeply, Y/N."

"I… I don't know, Minjeong-ah. I'm not sure how i should respond. I mean, i am flattered that you're in love with me, but I can't accept your confession right away 'cause i don't want to be rude to your feelings when i don't even know how i feel"

"Then I'll wait, Y/N. I'll wait until you get your feelings sorted out. Will you allow me to do so?"

"Please don't say that… that just makes me feel more of a jerk than i already am."

"Then… am i rejected?" She looked you deep in the eye. "I don't have any chance with you, do i? Have I never been once, considered by you?" 

Feeling as if you were pulled by her eyes, your body instantly moved forward giving her a kiss as you touched her by the chin. You slowly let go of the kiss after a few second as you kept a close contact.

"I gotta tell you the truth, Minjeong-ah. I have. But I didn't want to lose you. I'll feel like my whole world disappear if you ever leave me."

"Then, doesn't that mean you already know your feelings, Y/N? You didn't want to lose me, so…?" 

"...you might be right. But are you okay with me? 'cause you're the popular girl, Minjeong-ah. Everybody would love to be with you. I'm just… eh." 

"They can't, because i'm already owned by you. Also i don't know what you mean by 'am i okay with you' or not, because i honestly don't see any problem with it."

"I see." You chuckled at her response. "Sorry for being an idiot who never realized your feelings, Minjeong-ah. Also thank you, for not giving up on this guy right here."

"Apology accepted. But you're still an idiot. An idiot that i love."
