I was listening to Eyes locked, Hands locked by Red Velvet, and was inspired to write this.

"Ya, hurry up!" Seulgi said to you as she was already a few meters away from you ahead. You were panting due to your lack of stamina as you could feel your legs feeling as if they could give in at any moment. You took the moment and rested by the tree trying to get at least a bit of a rest you can get.

"Easy for you to say, noona. I'm not the type of guy to go hiking."

"Your stamina suck. You should've been exercising more. Aish~" She said to you as you looked down gasping for air. Noticing that you weren't joking, she went down instantly approaching you as she sat next to you.

"I'm sorry Y/N. You're really tired aren't you?" She cupped your cheeks as she stared into your eyes as it turned to a more worrysome. You felt your eyes shaky as you tried to focus on her making her feel guilty.

"Y-Y/N, you aren't gonna pass out aren't you?" Her voice vibrated as she started panicking in the middle of the path. Seeing this you tried to calm her down as you placed your hands on hers.

"Noona, it's okay. Just give me some water." You said to her as she immediately rummaged through her backpack giving the water bottle to you. The cold sensation of the bottle made you flinch for a bit due to it being made of steel.

You gulped down the bottle as she kept her eyes on you in a loving manner. You 'pwah-ed' (not sure what i should write here, but you know what i mean) as you gave the bottle back to her.

"Noona, i'm fine. You don't have to worry about it."

"But..." She pouted at you as she caressed your cheeks as you did the same to her.

"I'm fine. I just need a little break, is all." You said to her.

"Really?"

"Really." She then glanced away putting the bottle back inside her backpack. You decided to enjoy nature's beauty before glancing back at her who's been looking at you with eyes full of worry.

"Noona. You're worrying about me too much." You said to her.

"Better than me ignoring you, isn't it?" She retorted.

"Sure is. Thank you, for being so caring for me noona." You gave her a peck on the forehead making her flush. Her face then started getting a bit flushed making you giggle at her.

"Are you that embarrassed?" You asked.

"Of course i am. I mean, you rarely ever did that to me..."

"Well yeah, it's because we rarely ever have time for each other isn't it? You started getting busy since russian roulette era, and only got a chance to take break now. Well specifically, a break to spend for us."

"I know. I'm really happy that you never left my side, Y/N."

"And i'm also happy that you never left mine." The two of you fell silent as you looked around the forest taking a breather, as it was the first time you went there after years.

It has been Seulgi's plan to take the two of you to go hiking as she was affected by a certain show she watched and decided that you two would go and spend some time alone. But that day never came, until now.

It was a good thing that she was still interested in going hiking, since you already bought all of the things necessary to bring. You wouldn't know what you'd do with it if you don't.
