"Hi, welcome to House of Traps Coffee and Tea, what can I get you?" Matthew stood behind the counter, typing something on the register. He had traded out Ollie's hoodie for a bronze House of Traps sweater with the hood hiding the rabbit ears.

He glanced up at the customer, then stopped, his face going a pure red color.

"A-ahaki?!" Matthew squeaked, his ears shifting under the hood.

"Herlo Matthew." Ahaki purred. "I never expected you to be here."

"I-I work h-here!" Matthew quickly explained.

He nodded, looking around the cafe.

"S-so, uh, wh-what would you l-like to order?" Matthew stammered.

"What would you recommend?"

For a few seconds, Matthew couldn't form words. "Uh...maybe the maple frappuccino?"

"Is that your favorite?" Ahaki leaned against the counter.

"Y-y-yeah."

"Then I'rl get it."

Matthew shakily put the order in. "Th-that'll be-"

Ahaki slid him ten dollars before he could finish.

"Thank you." He gave him the change, then screamed at Q to start on the drink.

"Is it a'right if I talk to you while the drink's being made?" Ahaki asked him.

"It's a 'lax day, of course." Matthew replied as he watched Q start on the drink.

"Is he your brother?" Ahaki gestured to the mute twin.

"Yes, that's Aquilo." Matthew explained. "Normally he has ice blue hair, but today, he forgot to put the dye in. All of them did. And he has black eyes, but he forgot the contacts." Now he looks just like his brothers, although anyone could tell Will apart from his twins just from all his injuries.

Q looked up from mixing the drink, and signed It's very nice to meet you.

"Hey, Four!" Ollie stuck his head out of the kitchen.

I'm Two, you clown dealer. Q signed.

"Shut up, Four. I know it's you, I could see you from a mile away." Ollie smacked his brother.

Ouch, One, let me get the drink done!

Matthew laughed a bit, watching his siblings. Ahaki couldn't help but notice how his violet eyes had little sparks of silver in them that just seemed to dance in the light. He didn't look much like his brother Aquilo, or the other one who had just arrived. Ahaki wouldn't ask about it, it just seemed wrong to.

Frustrated that his brothers started fighting again, Matthew picked up making the drink from where Q left off.

"Here you go, sorry for the delay." A cute dust of pink appeared on Matthew's sweet little face.

"That's a'right, Matthew."

"I'm sorry I couldn't get coffee with you, I work here, y'know, we aren't allowed to dine with customers during work hours."

"It's okay, I compretery understand." Ahaki took the drink from him, his hand brushing against Matthew's.

At once, Matthew jerked his hand back as though his touch burned him.

He touched my hand he touched my hand HE TOUCHED MY HAND! Matthew wanted to scream. What if he felt that his hand was plushy and made of velvet? Would he be scared?

Ahaki winced a bit. "I-I'm sorry, I should leave."

He took his drink off the counter and left.

Matthew was damn near crying. How could he just let him leave without explaining? Maybe he hated him.

What the hell was keeping him here? Why should he stay in this world where he was just another burden on everyone he knew?
