Saliva dribbled down from the creature's multiple heads as it descended from the ceiling. Its humanoid body was long, like a centipede, with at least 10 clawed human hands holding it up. In place of arms, it had a long, multicolored sword and an axe. The first head had its face covered by a round black and beige cartoon demon mask, with a yellowed angel halo plunged into its inky head, probably in its skull. Its teeth gnashed angrily behind the mask, staring at the kid with deadened eyes.

The second head was similar to the dragon, in the way that it was lepid. One section of it, the top left, was green and had rotting grass in place of fur. The section right of it was purple and covered in toxic blisters. The section below it was orange and on fire. And the last was a sky blue color and had icicles hanging from it.

The sections shifted, then opened up in a feral scream. Inside those sections was a rotten and decayed human head, its mouth permanently opened in a scream.

Matthew just barely had the wits to conclude that this abomination was Ollie, Flay, Will, Q, and even that girl Sam fused together.

Before he could react, one of the hands, which was purple and slimy, picked him up and threw him against the tent wall.

There was a sickening snap as something broke. His arm was useless now.

Another hand, this time blue and ice cold, scooped him up, then slammed him down into the stage.

Matthew tried to drag himself away, but sharp claws that dug into his skin pulled him right back to be tossed around like a rag doll.

The flashlight had been discarded, laying next to the scythe by the now bloodied wall.

Lewis had fallen out of the backpack, analyzing the creature. For all intents and purposes, it was blind. It had no ability to see.

Something was wrong. The dragon had been able to thwart his glitching power by always having something to throw at him just when Glitch thought he was safe. And this thing was blind, to overcome his hypnosis. These things were meant to tear Glitch apart.

The thing stabbed and stabbed at Matthew with its sword arm, slicing up his back and sides.

Matthew coughed up more blood as the creature circled him. This time, the blood was black.

He watched, horrified, as his fingertips that were splattered in his own blood started to melt and become black goo. His whole body was melting into a black puddle.

Let me out! His body was screaming at him as he melted. LET ME OUT!

The monster clawed at the goo, confused as to why its prey melted. Then it bubbled. Multiple magenta eyes opened up as the goo rose up. Black rabbit ears formed as two larger magenta eyes appeared in the murk. Then its equally magenta mouth opened.

"I allllllways come baaaaaack..." the sludge cooed, expanding in size. "LET ME OUT."

The two faced head laughed, biting at the creature.

As soon as it did that, the goo latched onto that head, covering it and flowing to the other head.

It screamed, trying to tear the goo off of it. For good reason, too. The goo was dissolving their skin and bones.

Finally, it collapsed. The goo shrank back, satisfied in its work. The heads were gone, and the stumps of the conjoining necks sizzled with the remaining acid.

The goo recollected, slowly reforming back into Matthew.

His wounds caused by the dragon were gone. He was alert and had no sign of a concussion. Even his broken arm was fixed. Blood still trickled from the marks on his back, and his sides were sliced up. Bruises were already forming on his arms where he was hit against the ground over and over, and he coughed up blood as he glanced at the doll.

"Glitch!" Lewis held up the button. "One more to go, it's only five am!"

"F-five?" Matthew stood up, shivering.

"Yeah, get your stuff and let's go!" Lewis bounced into the bag after retrieving the flashlight.

Matthew nodded, meandering his way to retrieve the scythe. The wall opened up like a curtain, leading into the next room.

"Are you okay?" Lewis saw no sign of the head wound that caused his concussion.

"Just tired." Matthew panted, wondering what he did that exhausted him so much. Plus he was in some severe pain from getting thrown around.

Then he remembered the pain of melting into an inky black abyss, his thoughts and emotions reduced to the literal basics of survive. And that's what he did, didn't he?

Matthew stepped into the next room. "Uh, Lewis?"

"Yeah?"

"Why do I hear boss music?"
