Elena's POV:
Gabe is back, and I still need to marry Alonso! But don't worry, everything has a solution.
"May I present Valentina Montanez Tores, heir to the golden throne of Paraiso." Manuel exclamed proudly.
"And may I present Queen Elena Castillo Flores." Armando replied.
"Hello, long time no see. Are you having a great time?" I asked.
"Oh, of course. Just a bit busy since my coronation would be held on the 5th of March." She answered.
I opened my mouth in awe, it's the exact date of my wedding!
"Um, my family arranged a wedding for me and Alonso on that day and I......" I didn't even have time to finish when she interrupted: "I know, so you're here to tell me there's no hope in our love ?"
"No, why would I?" I took a deep breath and continued: "I'm here to ask if you could help me deal with it."
"How hard could that be? I could pretend to be you while you go and enjoy your life with Gabe." She replied.
"Wait, what did you just say? Me and Gabe? Don't be silly, he's just a guard." I answered, not knowing who I wanted to convince, me or Val.
"While I was in the forest of Cordoba relaxing, I saw him and I couldn't believe what I saw. I asked him why was he here when he should be at your engagement party, and then he was like: "What did you say? You're not kidding right?" And then I said what Alonso told me He didn't even bother to listen and galloped all to way to Avalor." She said.
"And what does it have to do with me?" I asked, puzzled.
"Don't you get it? He cares about you, but hides it in his heart because you're the queen of Avalor so he won't fantasize." She replied.
"Hahaha, isn't it the funniest thing ever?" I said, hoping to ease the tension.
"Nope, and you're not even laughing." She answered.
"Whatever. Anyways, do you want some Avalorion chocolate? Bet it's way better than the ones from Paraiso." I joked.
"Dare you say it one more time?" She threatened as she threw a pie at me.
Then I grabbed another and hurled it at her. Soon, it had became a food fight and we ended up laughing.
Author's note:
I know that it's strange to end a chapter with a food fight but I won't want this story to be so sad and intense. Bye!
