"Sooooo, the abandoned castle is somewhere in the northern islands?" Gabe asked, transfixed.
"Yes, why'd you ask?" Elena replied, crossing her arms.
"It'll take hour, or maybe days to find it if we don't know the exact location." Gabe said, worried that Elena would jump headfirst into danger, again.
"Didn't I make myself clear enough? It's in the lost city of Paradise!" She shouted, losing patience.
"I'm just trying to help, no one knows what could happen if they took the scepter." Gabe said with a grunt.
"Look, Avalor would be in grave danger if that happen, just like you said. But we really need to get that scepter, so I say we go now!" Elena commanded.
"You're not going anywhere, I say that as general." Gabe said, blocking her path.
"As queen of Avalor, I reject." Elena answered as she stood on her toes, just so that she would be the exact height as Gabe.
"I have an army." Gabe reminded her.
"So what? I am their queen." Elena shot back.
"Can you please continue this argument after we stop Naomi and Chatana?" Mateo complained, annoyed.
"No!" Elena and Gabe both shouted.
"I have to do this in order to protect my kingdom. Why should I even tell you? You'll never understand. You're just a guard." Elena continued with a sigh.
"No, I know that this may seem crazy but the whole reason of why I wanted to become a royal guard is because of you! I saw the courage you had when you broke down Shuriki, and that's why became a guard. You inspired me to follow my dreams and protect your kingdom, our kingdom. And that's why I worked so hard, fighting my way to the finals. Don't you get it? All I did was because of you! " Gabe cried, his eyes were starting to get teary as he told Elena the whole story.
"I'm sorry, I never knew that you've gone through that. Guess I shouldn't have said those mean and hurtful words before walking in your shoes. Once again, I apologize for doing that." Elena admitted, looking down to the floor and avoiding eyes contact.
"Apology a 100% accepted." Gabe replied with a smile, "So what do we do now? Queen Elena."
"Please, it's just Elena, and I'm not only your queen. I'm your friend." Elena answered with a wide grin.
Mateo cleared his throat and joked, "I feel left out."
Elena and Gabe laughed, staring at him. For he had ruined the precious moment.
"Well, if you just keep on, moving on~" Elena said in a sing-song voice while giving Mateo a friendly tap on the shoulder.
"Now let's go find that tower!" Mateo exclaimed as the trio rushed out the door.
"On 3. 1, 2, 3!" Elena shouted as she disappeared into a hallway.
"Wait!" Gabe and Mateo cried as they raced after her.
