Mateo's POV:
"So what now?" I asked, right after I shrunk back to my usual height.
"So now we stop Chatana and Naomi."
Naomi......
The person who betrayed our friendship.
But why did she do that?
Maybe because of......
I never really thought about the answer, but it was just there, ready to be written. I recalled back our journey to destroy to scepter of night. When Gabe offered his hand to Elena. And Naomi standing there, frozen like an ice statue. I wonder if if Elena and Gabe were flirting, and if it was the reason why Naomi was mad. The fact that Gabe had a crush on Elena wasn't a secret to anyone but her. Elena didn't treat him like any other of them, she was just grateful to have them as her best friends. Not until now...... Elena had discovered a new emotion, (well, not exactly.) she found out what was the trouble she was dealing with. Now just Esteban, but something that can change her life. Something like......love. She was just too busy trying to defeat Shuriki and the Delgados, alongside the other villains.
"Mateo, focus!" Someone roared.
I broke out from the trance and saw Elena looking extra annoyed.
"Ok, you have to control your emotions though, you won't want to deal with the whole 'sky garden' thing." I said with a chuckle.
"Whatever." She replied grumpily.
Ha! Did I mention that I love winning as much as I love potions?
