Heroes

*Third Person POV*

Clay wore a serious expression on his face as he held the black smiley face mask that the late Mumbo Jumbo made for him. Due to the increase of deaths and retirements of heroes worldwide, the world desperately needs heroes. Which is why both Class 3-A and 3-B are now given the titles 'hero'. 

Carefully placing the mask on his face, Clay stepped out of the dressing room and met up with his friends. All of them were in full hero attire, with not one feature or gadget absent. Accompanying them were UA High School teachers Technoblade, DanTDM, StampyLongHead and Sqaishey. 

Some of the students were worried, concerned and quite frankly afraid. If the chances of a hero dying on the field was this high, what would that mean for them? Would they die? What would surviving even mean? 

"Alright, nerds. Listen closely. From this day onward, you are heroes. Now I know you are concerned, worried or even afraid. I am too! With all the villainous villainy villain business going on under the control of glowing glow-stick eyes happening recently, I don't blame you at all. In fact, it is okay to be afraid, we are only human after all." Technoblade reassured his students. 

Technoblade's speech managed to calm a few people down, but there was still a slight hint of fear in some. However, it was no use to try and force it away as that would only result in more fear. 

Once everyone was ready, the group set off in different directions with Technoblade, DanTDM, StampyLongHead and Sqaishey each leading a group of students. 

In Technoblade's group was Clay, Ranboo, Wilbur, Tommy and Gogy. DanTDM's consisted of Zak, Darryl, Eret, Harvey, Nikki and Nick. StampyLongHead's group had Ant, Tubbo, Vurb, Astelic and Puffy. Finally, Sqaishey's group had Alex, George, Rose, Karl, Sam and Callahan. 

Determined, the 4 groups went their separate ways with the goal of stopping as many villains as they could. Was this a stupid idea, yes it was. Was this their only option, unfortunately yes. 

As Technoblade's group strolled around a barren wasteland that once used to be a thriving city, Ranboo stopped and closed his eyes. He felt something. 

"Ranboo?" Clay called, wondering why his friend stopped all of a sudden. 

"I can hear them... Endermen! Five blocks East!" Ranboo announced. 

"Alright, then that's where we're going. Ranboo, open up a portal!" Technoblade ordered as Ranboo obliged. 

One by one, the group entered and exited the portal only to be met by a gruesome scene. Corpse after corpse of heroes and civilians laid motionless on the ground as the Endermen feasted on their rotting flesh, among the Endermen stood a man who was seemingly responsible for all of this. 

"Oh thank god I didn't become a full Enderman." Ranboo exclaimed gratefully. 

"Ah... More heroes have arrived... How perfect!" The man said creepily as he turned around and faced the group. He looked utterly terrifying while also having blood stains on his mouth, like a predator that had just feasted on it's prey. 

"You did this?" Gogy asked. 

"Well yes, I did. And I am pleasantly proud of myself for doing so! Anyway, I am Godric. Pleased to meet your acquaintance." The man introduced himself politely. 

"You're rather polite... For a sick bastard." Technoblade replied. 

"Please, I am no sick bastard. I merely have a preference for human flesh." Godric pleaded. 

"That's it, I'm killing this idiot." Tommy growled as he instantly blasted towards Godric, attempting to tackle him to the next weekend. However, Godric managed to protect himself as his skin quickly grew the scutes of a crocodile. 

"Oh my, a rocket! How interesting! I bet you taste spicy!" Godric exclaimed creepily as he tightly grasped Tommy by the hand and was about to bite him when a portal was suddenly formed as Godric's face went through. 

Using this chance, Wilbur stepped in and sent a powerful sound wave right at Godric's chest as Tommy slipped out of his clutches. 

"This guy isn't gonna be easy to beat, you all better keep your guard up!" Technoblade warned.
