Dennis walked along the sidewalk as he sighed. He had just been let go by his company as due to all the chaos happening, they couldn't afford to keep him there. This saddened Dennis drastically as he needed this job to pay his mother's medical bills.

"It's alright, Dennis... You'll find another job soon enough in these trying times..." Dennis consoled himself. He then used his quirk to brighten up his mood.

Behind Dennis were two people, both male but unidentifiable as they wore masks. The two followed closely behind as Dennis continued to mind his own business until it was the right time to strike.

Quickly, one of the men covered Dennis's mouth while the other knocked him unconscious in an instant using his quirk. Together, they dragged Dennis's unconscious body over to an abandoned alleyway.

Half an hour later...

Dennis slowly regained consciousness as he found himself stuck onto a chair, with what seemed like wires plugged into his body. Naturally, he'd be shocked and confused. What the heck had happened and where the hell is he?

"Greetings, Dennis." A voice spoke, it was a very deep and croaky voice.

"N-No way... It can't be... I-It's you..." Dennis stuttered as Herobrine revealed himself from out of the shadow.

"So you've heard of me... My, how flattering." Herobrine said.

"P-Please! L-Let me go! I'll give you whatever you want! Just please, let me go!" Dennis pleaded.

"Now now, relax... Calm down." Herobrine said in a calming tone before putting a needle into his arm and taking his blood.

"O-Ow! W-What did you do t-that for?" Dennis asked fearfully.

"Oh, this is nothing, I'm just taking a sample of your blood. You see, I've created a little device that specialises in quirk transfer. All I need is a drop of blood and your quirk is mine." Herobrine explained.

"W-Why do you need my quirk?" Dennis asked.

"My goals are beyond your understanding. Anyway, I do not need you anymore." Herobrine said as he observed Dennis's blood.

"D-Does that mean you'll l-let me g-go?" Dennis asked.

Hearing this, Herobrine laughed.

"Of course... Not" Herobrine said as he forcefully opened Dennis's mouth and sent a tiny little blast of nuclear energy down his throat, which Dennis didn't take too well.

"Sweet dreams, victim 1... Your quirk will assist me greatly..." Herobrine whispered softly as Dennis slowly lost his life.
