Master of Energy

*Third Person POV*

Darryl explained his plan to take down the villain from I-Island to his friends and teacher in full detail. He told them how he had this new technique where he'd focus all his energy into one specific part of his body and release it all right at the villain. It will deal an insane amount of damage, however there is no guarantee that Darryl may come out of this alive. 

Logically, everyone was turned down by the idea, Dan even went as far as to criticise Darryl for coming up with such a risky plan like that. 

"Are you nuts? What good would it do if you blow yourself up!?" Dan scolded. 

"But it could defeat the villain, sir!" Darryl debated. 

"Yes, but it only could! You may only dent that giant for all we know!" Dan yelled. 

"Well I won't know if I don't try!" Darryl suggested. 

"There has to be a different way to solve this problem, enough people have died." Dan said. 

"I think we should give it a go actually." Harvey suggested. 

"Are you suggesting that Darryl should kill himself?" Dan asked. 

"No sir. I've known Darryl long enough to realise that he is a very powerful hero. It's gonna take something way stronger than this to kill him." Harvey replied. 

"And besides, Harvey can just heal him afterwards." Nikki added. 

Hearing this, Dan sighed. 

"Fine. Nick, Eret and I will cover you while you do your thing. Harvey, stand by and get ready to heal Darryl if anything happens. Nikki, keep an eye on Zak." Dan ordered. 

"Yes sir!" The kids replied as they went to carry out their own separate orders. 

"TAKE THIS!" Nick yelled as he sent a huge blast of fire towards the villain from I-Island while Eret and Dan each helped by sending their own projectiles. 

Meanwhile, Darryl started charging his attack. Sweat started to form and dripped from his head and onto the ground as he flexed his entire body. As he did so, energy started to flow into Darryl's hands as it emitted a faint glow. 

"Alright, 20%... Still got a long way to go..." Darryl thought. 

"HAHAHAHA! YOU HEROES STILL FAIL TO REALISE THAT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, YOU WILL NEVER DEFEAT ME!" The villain from I-Island yelled confidently as he laughed maniacally. 

The villain slightly lifted his leg and stomped onto the ground, causing a powerful vibration which everyone except Darryl felt. Meanwhile, due to the vibrations, Zak was awoken. 

"Zak! You're awake!" Nikki exclaimed happily. 

"Where am I? Where's Darryl?" Zak asked. 

"Darryl is charging up an attack that will defeat the villain that stepped on you while Dan, Nick and Eret are trying to distract the villain." Nikki explained. 

"No... He's using THAT attack!? Someone stop him!" Zak yelled as he attempted to stand up, but he was currently still too weak. 

"Easy there, Zak... You've just woken up!" Nikki said. 

"Nikki, you have to stop him! Last time he tried something like that, he almost died!" Zak pleaded. 

"What do you mean?" Nikki asked. 

"He and I were training a month ago, and he decided to pull out this technique. However, mid-way through he started screaming in pain as cracks started to form around his body with light spilling out. I was barely able to stop him by knocking him out unconscious!" Zak explained. 

"Well say no more we gotta stop him now!" Nikki yelled. 

But it was too late, Darryl had already charged his attack up to 100%. 

Realising that Darryl was ready, Dan yelled at everyone to stop what they were doing and get down immediately. Much to the villain's confusion, he turned around and saw Darryl, ready to release his attack at any given moment. 

"What's this? You think whatever you have got up your sleeve is enough to defeat me?" The villain asked. 

"Maybe, we'll never know." Darryl replied before letting out a roar as he released his attack. 

A large dome of energy grew rapidly as the villain was soon devoured inside. An explosion soon occurred, much to the surprise of everyone. 

As the smoke cleared, the villain from I-Island could be seen lying on the ground unconscious while back to his original size. However, Darryl was nowhere to be found. 

Thinking that Darryl was dead, tears flowed down from Zak's eyes as he fell onto his knees. He was unable to speak a word. Not knowing what to do, Dan went over to Darryl and did his best to comfort the boy with spiky hair. 

But it seemed like everyone's mourning session was cut short as Eret then noticed an army of golems and withers were coming their way.
