*Herobrine POV*

Darkness.

There was nothing but darkness. 

Suddenly, a bright light appeared out of nowhere as it drew closer. Soon, I was engulfed in the bright light. Bit by bit, the darkness started to fade as I slowly started to feel nothing but pain. 

Apparently, one of my limbs managed to survive the explosion. And from that, I painfully became one again. 

All sorts of pain flowed through my body, I gasped for air. The pain, however, soon subsided. 

I was amazed at my abilities before realizing I was naked. Quickly, I created a set f comfortable clothes for myself. 

Meanwhile...

*Third Person POV*

Limping back to the UA faculty, Clay along with his friends met with the others who immediately rushed to their care. Fortunately, their injuries weren't too serious. Gogy, along with the others even managed to find Tubbo and Ant, who were thankfully alive and breathing. 

"Clay, where's Technoblade?" Tommy asked. 

Clay didn't reply. 

"Clay. Where. Is. Technoblade?" Tommy asked seriously. 

Once again, Clay didn't reply. 

"Hey! I'm asking you a question!" Tommy yelled as he gripped Clay's shoulder tightly. 

"He sacrificed himself for us to escape, it's all my fault." Clay muttered emotionlessly. 

Hearing this, Tommy was enraged. Unable to control his anger, he assaulted Clay as everyone else did their best to hold him back. 

"DAMN RIGHT! IF YOU WEREN'T SO OVERCONFIDENT, TECHNOBLADE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE!" Tommy yelled angrily. 

"Tommy, stand down!" Nikki yelled. 

"No, let him. I deserve the beating." Clay muttered. 

The two were eventually separated from each other as Tommy was taken to another room to cool off while Clay remained in the main room. He laid on a mattress, tears flowing down from his eyes. 

Why did he let his power get to his head? 

"You know, beating yourself up isn't going to solve anything." 

Clay looked over to the direction where the voice came from, it was Nestorio. 

"There's no denying that Technoblade's sacrifice was your fault, but don't beat yourself up. Techno wouldn't want that." Nestorio continued. 

"Then what the hell am I supposed to do?" Clay groaned. 

"You learn." Nestorio replied, 

"Nobody is perfect, not even gods." 

Clay felt a little better, but still was depressed. 

Suddenly, the roof burst open. Floating above the freshly destroyed roof was Herobrine. The looks of disbelief on everyone's faces were priceless to him. He raised his hand as spikes rained from the sky. 

"EVERYONE MOVE!" Nestorio yelled at the top of his lungs. 

Darryl, who so happened to nearby noticed the situation. He quickly activated his quirk and created an energy force field to shield everyone. It was a very draining technique, but so long as everyone was protected. 

"HEROBRINE!!!" Tommy yelled as he blasted himself towards Herobrine, attempting to tackle the villain. 

However, the villain caught him and threw him back down, sending him crashing onto the ground. Upon seeing this, Nick along with many others started attacking Herobrine with their quirks. However, it did little to nothing. 

Herobrine laughed maniacally as once again, millions of spikes rained down on the heroes once more. This time, Darryl couldn't create a force field to protect everyone. So unfortunately, some of them were impaled by the spikes and died. 

Clay forced himself up and activated both 'Clutch' and One for All at 100%. His hair spiked up as an intense neon green aura and electricity surrounded him. Clay leapt towards Herobrine, punching the villain in the face and causing a small crack, with a glowing light leaking from the crack. 

Clay noticed this and was confused, giving Herobrine the chance to retaliate. 

"EVERYONE RETREAT!" Nestorio yelled, attempting to buy everyone some time while he shot a quirk nullifying arrow at Herobrine. It landed on Herobrine's knee, but it didn't seem to do much. 

Herobrine pulled the arrow out from his knee, leaving a small bruise. The small bruise later disappeared as Herobrine had regenerative abilities. However, another small crack appeared on Herobrine's knee, which Clay noticed. 

"Tch, I'm bored now." Herobrine grunted before disappearing from sight.
