When Kaname and I stepped out the door to support father, what we saw was a blizzard and the metallic smell in my nose...the smell of father's blood. We slowly went on into the storm until it let down.
I saw my father who was stabbed by an anti-vampire weapon. The monster he faced was Uncle Rido. I brought out my sword Tsuki.
<Kaname Prov>
"Nobody will hurt you anymore Haruka-Hitomu and I are here to kill him for the sake of the family." I stood in front of Haruka to protect him. I should have left Hitomu to protect him but I can't kill Rido because he was the one who awakened me again as sad as it is he's the master whom I can't kill.
I turned to Haruka as he suddenly took me in his arms

and told me in a whisper:
"Please don't take my honor as a father away, Kaname, I don't want my son to protect me."
How can he say that? Even though I'm not his son?
"But-"
"Protect Hitomu and Yuki for us, could you do that as a favor for Juri and me?"
How could I say no to that...
"I would have done that without you telling me anyway..."
I felt Haruka wasn't so tense and relaxed.
"Even if you aren't our son Kaname...we raised you nonetheless with pleasure and loved you very much."
I feel the same Haruka from the very bottom of my heart...but I won't be able to tell you that.
"Father..." His grip on me tightens as he said these words.
"Protect Hitomu, she won't have it easy in the future...certainly not with this heavy burden, fate has placed on her shoulders."
After these last words, he turned to dust. I saw Hitomu fighting with Rido.
