Caleb - Is everything ok?

Kayla - What do you want?

Caleb - What's your problem?

Kayla - You and Ivy, that's my problem.

Caleb - What are you talking about?

Kayla - Even if you and Jamie aren't together anymore, it still hurts her to see you with other people. You knew we'd be at the party tonight and you rubbed Ivy in Jamie's face.

Caleb - I didn't know you and Jamie saw that kiss. I'd never try to hurt her like that.

He stands in shock.

He crosses his arms. Caleb and I laugh

He puts his hands on his hips.

Kayla - I thought we were all friends here. I guess I was wrong

I start fake crying.

Conan - I bet she's going to start the fake water works

He knows me too well. Conan looks at his phone and looks in shock.

Kayla - What is it Conan?

Conan - My dad just texted me demanding to know where I am. I can't tell him I'm at a party. He'll kill me when I get home. I'm going to be in so much trouble.

Kayla - Unless. What if you tell him you're at my house tonight? He wont suspect a thing.

Conan - You mean I could stay with you tonight?

Kayla - It wouldn't be the first time. Even though we haven't done it in a while.

Conan - You'd seriously be saving me tonight.

Kayla - Hey, you saved me earlier with Jake, I owe you one.

We get in the car and drive home. We get out of the car and stand at the front door, Conan says.

Conan - Hey, um, Kayla

What was that?! We almost kissed! We go inside and we get ready for bed.
