I get to school and see Jamie.

Kayla - Hey girl!

Jamie - There you are! I was just texting you again. Have you looked at your phone this morning?

Kayla - No, why?

Jamie - The big annual beach party is tonight!

Kayla - OMG!

Every year, all high schoolers throw a party on the beach to celebrate the first weekend of school. The four of us came up with our tradition freshman year, to camp there after the party. We've done it every year since. But with all the drama. I couldn't help but wonder if this year would be different...

Kayla - I completely forgot the beach party was this weekend!

Jamie - Yeah I was texting you to bring a swimsuit. Everyone is going.

Kayla - Even Conan and Caleb?

Jamie - Conan, yes. I don't know about Caleb and I don't care

Kayla - I can't believe I forgot.I don't want to go to the beach in my uniform.

Jamie - Girl, I've got you. Meet me in the locker room after school.

Caleb - Jamie, Hey!. I need to talk to you.

Caleb calls out. She rolls her eyes and walks off.

Jamie - Why are you following me?

Caleb - Why are you mad at me?

Jamie - What do you mean, mad at you. We're fine.

Caleb - Does it have something to do with Ivy?

Jamie - God no. I'm fine with you and Ivy.

Caleb - I just want to know if we can move on?

Jamie - There is nothing to move on from.

She continues walking off to class.

The last bell goes and I meet Jamie at the locker rooms.

Jamie - Hey girl.

Kayla - Did you talk to Caleb today?

Jamie - Mhmm, everything is fine between us

Kayla - I sense sarcasm

Jamie - Caleb doesn't like me. I'm going to move on. That's that. But even if I'm moving on, it can't hurt to make him jealous at the beach.

We see Sarah and her friend laughing taking selfies.
