My name is Sara Monteiro, I'm 30 years old and I'm Portuguese, but you already know that. I started writing this story at a stage in my life when I was nothing but a dreamer who used to write all her dreams, trying to turn them into goals to motivate her, without knowing if I would be able to achieve any of them because I thought they were too big for me.

Now, I live in Canada so yes, I did make this dream come true, not that it was easy, I still remember the small and not so good apartment we lived in when we first moved here or the desire to give up because we felt alone in an unknown place. However, things changed; we have a big and great house overlooking the river (the connection to the water element I wanted so much), we don't have any financial problems anymore and we're creating a family, our own family: I'm currently 7 months pregnant with Rodrigo -we have already decided on the name!- and I can't wait for him to be born and join our little Maria.

Miguel and I are very happy together, our relationship has evolved a lot over the years and I think we are the best friends of each other; we talk about everything and try to solve our problems with the greatest calm and without much discussion. Of course, we are not perfect but something we try our best to do is not to argue in front of Maria, we don't want her to watch that, we want her to see the love her parents have for each other and for her.

As for the people around me, things have changed a lot too. With my family, everything is doing great, Afonso is getting bigger and bigger and is already in elementary school, my father and Beni are happy with their married life which makes me really proud that my father has finally the happiness he always deserved. My grandmother is that person that I think I always knew would never get along well, we rarely talk because I refuse to hear her awful comments so the only moments I talk to her are when my father video chats with me and she is in the house.

My aunt, with whom I keep talking regularly, lives with her boyfriend and, the last time I called her, she said she wanted to visit me and that was planning on doing that as soon as possible. She is proud of me and continues to support me no matter what happens, this relationship only gets better with time and with increasing my maturity.

After Christmas, I decided to video chat with my friends to see how everyone was doing, to tell them about the baby's gender and to ask two of them to be his godparents.

Francisca received a promotion and is now working in one of the biggest companies in the country. She keeps watching her football team games abroad and takes the opportunity to visit the cities where she goes, every time she gets. She's also trying to save money to make trips with her mother since they plan to visit a lot of places together, it's like a mother and daughter goal, which I think is really great. She met a boy and has been talking a lot about him with me and Marta but she still doesn't know how serious it is, so she's taking it slowly.

Gulli is still living in Portugal as Francisca but has moved to Lisbon where he's now working for Google. They opened a new office and, due to his abilities, some colleagues in the area recommended him and he was hired. He also started seeing this nice and funny girl that he met in a coffee shop and, during a video call between Gulli, me and Dan, she appeared and we got to know her.
