chapter 10: just like heaven

Y/N AND FINN WERE OUT and about in the streets of new york city, looking for an open park where they can hang out and read for the rest of the day. sadie would've went with them but she was busy with press for the movie, so it was just the two lovers by their lonesome.

once they got there, y/n hopped on finns back as he ran around the field and spun in circles making them both dizzy. he always gave the best piggy back rides and everyone could vouch for that. they always made y/n scream and laugh and she could never get enough.

finn eventually got tired and fell over onto the field, nearly crushing y/n before she quickly rolled out from under him.

"you could've nearly crushed me!" she laughed.

"'cmon y/n, you know that couldn't even be possible if i tried," he laughed back at her silliness, hinting at how weak he is.

they both laid there for a few more seconds be for y/n jumped up and grabbed finns hands, trying to pull him up but failing miserably.

"show me, show me, show me how you do that trick finn!" she said, firmly gripping his hand as he laid there, not moving a muscle.

"the one that makes me scream!" she said. "the one that makes me laugh," she said, pulling on his arm.

once he got up, she threw her arms around his neck. "show me how you do it!" she exclaimed while finn laughed. "and i promise you that i'll run away with you," she said.

they were both getting bored of their famous lives. they were always busy with press, they couldn't go out without being mobbed and frankly, they were both tired of everyone always being in their business. they had never mentioned running away and leaving their lives behind to each other, but it was an option both of them had thought of.

finn showed y/n how to do it and she would not stop begging finn to get on her back until he actually did jump on. she kept spinning even while they were on that dizzy edge. finn would kiss her face and kiss her neck while she would laugh at all the fun she was having.

the girl fell over onto the grass, both of their heads spinning as they felt the world around them moving.

they both laid there, resting their eyes. finn thought of all the different ways he could think of to make her glow. her face would always light up anytime she would laugh or even just simply smile and it was finns favourite thing to see.

"why are you so far away," y/n complained, reaching out to him even though they were arms length apart.

finn rolled over to y/n."i hope you know that i'm in love with you." he told her once he got closer to her.

he was only in love with y/n, her skin was soft and she was as strange as an angel. strange, because it was confusing as to how beautiful she always looked and how she would always glow. y/n was just like a dream. a dream he would never want to wake up from.

the two laid there next to each other, enjoying each other's company under the hot summer sun.
