chapter 7: love my way

FINN, Y/N AND SADIE WERE all back at set once again however this time, there was an awkward tension between y/n and finn after what had happened the last time they spoke to one another out of character.

today, finn was in the makeup department lost in his thoughts, instead of his dressing room. they had to start filming earlier than normal today so he had to get ready quick.

he was obviously thinking about y/n and how he still just wanted them to be back together.

finn wanted her to love his way, to direct her love towards him. after dating for quite a while, he pretty much knew everything about her so he knew that it would be a new road for her to go back to her ex boyfriend.

the boy tried to think about what the girl thought of him. he was very confused from her going back and forth and now realizes that this is what he put her through the last time they filmed together, and he felt awful.

'if she could, she would probably put me on the railroad and dearly make me pay,' he thought to himself. 'she would make me pay for laughing in her face when i did this all to her and she would make me pay for always trying to make it my way.' he was in a terrible state of mind and if y/n had known, she would feel even worse for what she's been doing.

finn could tell that there has been an emptiness behind her eyes recently as if she hasn't really been meaning what she's been saying but he still felt as though she had dust in her heart.

'she would just want to steal me and take me apart.' after being put through this, he had a horrible mindset on how the girl thinks even after knowing her for quite a while. he knew she wouldn't do anything like this but he's been thinking of the time they saw each other at the lake and she ripped him apart.

that's all he could ever think of.

Y/N AND SADIE WERE IN sadie's dressing room, waiting for finn to get ready since they had been ready for a while now.

the redhead was trying to cheer her up her best friend before they had to go on set, acting happy. she was trying to make this job easier for her considering the difficult circumstances she was put in.

"swallow all your tears, my love!" sadie told her. "and put on your new face," she said, hinting at the fact that this whole act was fake but, then again, that's just how acting is sometimes.

"sadie, i can't right now,"y/n choked out. "i keep following where my mind goes and it keeps going back to finn! i feel horrible for the way i treated him but i don't wanna go crawling back after the hurt he put me through for no reason." she frowned.

"listen, i think you should go for it. i mean, you can never win or lose if you don't run the race!" sadie replied, trying to help her out a little bit.

"yeah, you're right. i'll go talk to him after filming today. i think i'll give him another chance." she said, in a hopeful manor.
