The sounds of footsteps nearing my location and giggles were drawing me away from my dream. I didn't have many good dreams, so I was a bit upset that this one was interrupted.

"Do you think we should wake them?" A deep voice asked in a hushed voice.

"No, of course not!" A lighter voice whisper yelled. "Leave them be. Trey messaged us in advance so you wouldn't freak out at the sight. Let's just go get ready for bed ourselves and leave them here. They'll be fine."

The footsteps moved away and the voices quieted. My eyes had yet to open and I wasn't sure if I wanted to. I felt the breath of someone on my forehead and soon realized that I was laying on a chest. I panicked for a moment as the memory of today came flooding back.

Opening my eyes I see the shirt Asher was wearing under me. As I lifted my head I was at awe at the sight. This was the first time I had woken up before him. He always managed to be the first up whenever we had to sleep together. The morning after the party, and the next day at my aunt's, but right now, I get to see him. His hair was, for the most part, out of his face excluding a few rebellious strands. Lip parted as the deep blue eyes I have grown so fond of were covered by his eyelids. With each breath, I could feel his chest moving and the air hitting my forehead.

Looking around I take note that we are still on the couch in the living room and that Twilight was on. I let out a small chuckle at the thought of him falling asleep watching that particular movie. From the lack of sunlight through the blinds, I knew it must be late. I realize that the voices I heard must've been Adrian and my dad.

I'm sure my cheeks were a bright red at the idea of my parents coming home to find me asleep with my boyfriend on our couch. I laid my head back down to smother my face in the warm chest. Deciding it would be best to not worry about anything until the morning, I went back to sleep listening to the heartbeat of the brunette under me.

***********

Bright lights and the soft sound of the animaniacs theme song woke me up. A deep husky voice whispering the lyrics made a smile crawl its way to my lips.

"I know you are awake," Asher sang in place of the real words. His arms were still tight around me and I could feel his right hand lightly brush across my back. "Good morning sleepy head. Do you always wake up so late?"

I allowed my eyes to open and tilt my head to see him already staring at me. "What do you mean? It's early." I cringed at the raspiness of my voice.

Asher's chest began to vibrate as he let out a deep chuckle. "Maks, dear, it's eleven in the morning." He grabbed his phone that was currently charging. Its blinding screen I saw two things that made me confused. One was the time. I can't believe I slept so long without any nightmares. And two, the picture as his lock screen.

It was this moment, but I was asleep. I can tell by the lightning that it must have been taken last night, but by who? And why? "Huh, well. No I don't, but how did you get that picture and when did you have the time to make it your wallpaper?" I asked, trying to get up so I wasn't lying on top of him.

Another laugh as he also shifted to get more comfortable. We ended up just sitting together side by side, but he mumbled something about being cold and before I knew it his arms were bringing me in. He was sitting up with his back against the arm of the couch facing the television while I had my back against his chest and his arms around my torso also facing the television. I wasn't sure if it was comfortable for him with me against him, but I was cozy, and he started it so I left it as he began to talk again.
