"Good morning, my beautiful older sister! Rise and shine!" An obnoxiously loud voice sang.
"Time for you to get up and be alive." Another annoying voice said just as cheerful as my warm covers were viciously taken away from me. I curly up in a ball trying to find some warmth in this cold early world. "Geez, and maybe change and shower. Aren't those your clothes from last night?"
I finally take the time to open my eyes allowing the harsh light to flood my vision. I see my two younger siblings standing above me with unusually happy smiles. Not that they weren't happy kids, they just were never happy so early in the morning.
"What is it?" I groan as I sit up. My hands immediately running over last night's skirt. "What time is it?"
Emma danced around the room towards the desk in front of the window where my phone was placed. "Oh, just 8:30. Meaning you have only ten minutes to get ready before Luka gets here to pick you up for the competition."
With this sudden information I jolt upwards and rush around to grab my things.
"Yeah, you might wanna hurry. Also is that Asher's jacket?" Trey teased as they follow me to the bathroom. I rush in and ignore their questions before taking the quickest, yet still efficient, shower I have ever taken in my life.
I had thrown my robe over my body before rushing back to my room . I quickly got dress putting on my marching shorts and band shirt. I hurriedly grab my phone from its charger only to look up and find the back belonging to Asher. I then realize that I just got dressed in front of my non curtained mirror that Asher happens to be able to see.
But I am shocked out of the thought as I hear a honk. I happen to see Asher look towards the front of my house before turning to completely look at me. Not too sure of what to do, I smile and wave. I didn't wait to see his response to my weirdness as I ran out to the black pick up truck belonging to my friend.
"Yo!" Said male shouts as he headings his head out of the driver's window. "Let's go! I have other stops to make before we get to school!"
I wave him off with a "yeah yeah" as I sit in the back seat leaving the front open for Dani who is our next stop.
"Your hair is still wet." The senior commented, eyes shifting between the road and his rear view mirror. "You're usually all ready to go and waiting outside for me. What's that all about?"
I roll my eyes with a small smile at how well my friend knows me. "I kinda just woke up. Long night out." I didn't really want to say too much since I'm not if we really paid any attention to the post he saw from Asher. Luka is the type of guy friend that acts more like a protective older brother. Even more so when he started officially dating Dani, so when it comes to my "love life" he starts acting similar to how my father acts.
"With?" His one worded question might not have been so challenging to answer if not for his eyes trained on me with his perfect brown eyebrow cocked in suspicion. "Dani didn't mention anything, and Dani always knows when you go out and always tells me while we cuddle on Thursdays during our show, meaning she didn't know. And that means it's seriously bad. So spill." He trailed, eyes shifting once more as we turned at a red light.
We were only a few minutes away from my best friend's house. And she doesn't know anything about Asher. Not even the fact about us being neighbors. It's not like I've been lying to her, we just haven't had a conversation that I could bring the topic up in. And I know that with your best friend, you don't really need the topic to be there, you just can just say it randomly and explain, but how do I even start?

RomanceJust your average romance book. But I try not to be too basic. "Enough about that. Explain why I'm here." "Fine, but on one condition." He smirked. I don't like this one bit, but I need to know what happened. "What?" I knit my eyebrows. "You have t...
