*6 Months Later*

Annabeth and I have grown very close over the past few months. I do believe I am in love with her, everyday she helps me learn something new and I teach her something new in return. We're growing as a couple, and we together made the rules of our marriage. Today I am marrying this remarkable woman without interference because it will be a closed wedding. No surprises like the day I was introduced into the mafia. I sigh and let the hair dressers and makeup designers poke and pull at my face and scalp.

I feel like my body is running on extreme amounts of electricity as I stand behind one of the side doors that lead to the middle. We decided since there are two brides, and this is commonly nontraditional, that nothing about it would be traditional, just like our vows. I nervously shake my hands as I pace in my floor length dress and heels with my long hair in a high and exquisite up-do. Mathew comes in to walk me down the aisle and looks me over with a worried expression.

"You do know that is you do that too much you'll sweat all that stuff caking your face off, correct?" he asks confused. I nod and continue to pace the floor. I hear the music start on the other side of the door and stop abruptly. Mathew stands in front of the door and gives me his elbow. I clasp his arm and try to stand still as I wait for the doors to open.

As the door opens I look ahead of me and walk in time to the song. I see Annabeth across from me and loose my breath, she is absolutely stunning. I feel a single tear roll down my face as I look at her, and see her eyes fill up as well.

Jonathan gives away Annabeth and Mathew gives away me before they both stand on either side of us, along with the bridesmaids we chose for each side. We turn towards one another with the preacher standing on the side of us, smiling with his tablet in hand. I take Annabeth's hands in mine and look into her eyes. This was the beginning of everything.

We looked over the paperwork again as I signed line after line on the agreements, and Annabeth does the same. I finish before her and look around the room for Austin. He hasn't talked me since I took over my mafia by force. I sigh and watch as my wife signs her papers. She looks up and smiles at me through her perfectly curled and pinned hair. I smile back at her and she signs the last line. I stand up and leave the room to think.

"Everything is handled and this is the first party we've had in this house that hasn't gone terribly wrong is almost a year," I hear a mean behind me say once I gone out on the balcony outside Annabeth and I's new room. I sigh and turn around.

"Austin, I don't have time for your pity party. I am actually finally happy, and I don't need you to damper my mood. Your sister and I's marriage is finalized and our mafia trade is as well. Thank you for signing those papers last week by the way, and not bothering to come to your sister's wedding. Really crushed her by the way," I tell him as I come back inside my newly decorated room.

"I didn't want to watch the woman I love marry my older sister. The woman who has always gotten everything she has wanted in her life now also has the only person I have ever loved," Austin says in an upset tone. I scoff at him.

"I don't care, Austin. Your sister needed you today and needed someone to be there for her, and you weren't because you're petty. Leave me out of this, and go congratulate your sister on her big day."

"I don't care what she needs. She has never cared about what I wanted, so why shouldn't I just return the favor?" Austin says heatedly.

"She made the agreement to marry me without even knowing who I was so she could save you. She threw out her whole life and mafia so that you could have what was taken from you. She cares more than you're willing to admit to yourself. So stop throwing your dumb pity party and go say your loving words to your sister on her amazing day. Leave me and go." I grind my teeth and Austin sucks on his teeth before sniffing and leaving the room. He stops before reaching the hall and looks back at me.

"I still love you, Madelynn. I always will, no matter if you're not going to return the favor. I will always love you." I sigh and nod.

   "I love Annabeth." Austin nods.

   "I know."

"Then leave it at that and go," I say and feel a tear roll down my face.

"I have been trying to do just that for the past year that I have known you, Maddie. I just can't get you form under my skin. No matter how hard I try or how far away I push you. I just can't get you out of my head." Austin says with a broken voice. I mentally groan.

"Then just stay out of my life and find someone new for you. Leave me out of it and have someone else deal with our mafias trade system instead of you," I tell him with a tight jaw. Austin nods and turns down the hallway. I sigh and sit on my bed as I feel the tears roll down my cheeks. Annabeth comes in and sits down next to me on the bed.

"My brother and his amazing way with words. I am sorry he ruined your day," she says and wipes the tears off of my face. I smile at her.

"You mean our amazingly perfect day. I knew someone would cause a hiccup. I am just glad that it was only your brother being, well, Austin." I tell her. She smiles at me and nods before kissing me. I grin and pull her up with me. "We're missing a pretty amazing party that my wife planned," I tease her. She hums.

"You should tell your amazingly beautiful wife thank you for planning such an amazing party," she teases as she leaves the room with me in tow. I grin at her. Before pulling her in by her waist and kissing her.

"Thank you, my amazingly beautiful wife," she grins.

"You're very welcome my lovely lady."
