Chapter 7

(Ash's POV)

I turned my attention to Serena, "Sorry about that but you know little sisters like to get on your nerves." I laughed nervously.

"Oh that's okay don't worry about it," I could see she was blushing slightly.

"That's not true!" May glared at me. "Anyway," she turned her attention back to Serena, "Your name is..Serena, right?"

"Y-yes, how rude of me not to introduce myself. I'm so sorry Mrs.Ketchum and...?"

"May!" My bratty little sister proudly said.

Serena smiled kindly at her, she'll get annoyed pretty soon at the paste May is going.

"Mom, me and Serena are going to do homework in the living room." I informed my mom. "Do you want something tk drink, Serena?"

"Umm..water will be fine thank you." She smiled at me and then my mom.

"Then I'll go do my homework instead of watching tv," May grumbled. But then something occurred to her. As she went uo the stair she yelled, "If you need me I'll be in your room watching tv!" Before shutting my bedroom door.

Deciding to ignore her, for now, I led Serena into the living room. We sat down and got out our homework.

"Okay, these are the homework problems." Serena said as she opened her math book and pointed to 5 math problems each having steps a, b, and c.

"Got it," I smiled up at her.

(Still Ash's POV)

After Serena and I finished the math homework, she got her Spanish homework out.

"Ugh, I suck at speaking Spanish." I was surprised Serena said that, for me personaly it was easy.

"What do you need help on?" I asked her, hopefully I'm helpful.

"I need to memorize these ten words in spanish and what they mean." She sighed and handed me the piece of paper.

"Oh right, i have the same thing. I know them all already." I said feeling pretty proud of myself.

She rolled her eyes atme, "Well, can you help me?"

"Sure!"

"Ash, Serena it's time for dinner." My mom said walkinginto the living room wipping her hand on her apron.

"I should probably get going then, I don't want to intrude." She quickly stood up and grabbed her backpack.

"No you should stay for dinner," my mom smiled at her.

"Yeah, then after dinner we can study those Spanish words and I'll take you home afterwards." I headed up the stairs. "I'll go get May." 

I walked up the stairs and knocked on my door...wait why did I knock? This is my room after all. Opening the door I saw May laying down on my bed watching My Little Pony. 

"May it's time to eat." I walked up to my tv and turned it up. I turned around to see May turn red in a matter of seconds. 

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT FOR? RIANBOW DASH WAS ABOUT TO DEFEAT THE EVIL PONY VILLIAN!!" she screamed in my face, jumping off my bed and turning the tv on. Her face went back to normal, thankfully. When the show is done come down for dinner, mom will get mad if you don't eat.

"Yeah yeah whatever, now leave." she pushed me out of my room and shut the door in my face. Sticking my tongue out i walked back downstairs.

"She got mad at me when I turned the tv off because she was watching My Little Pony agian." I told my mom as I washed my hands and sat down next to Serena.

"I remember watching that when I was little." Serena smiled. "Sometimes I still watch it, when I'm bored."

I couldn't help but laugh at that. I turned to face her and saw she was blushing a bit. 

My mom probably thought it was mean that i laughed and decided to speak up. "Don't worry Serena dear, Ash still watches Spongebob, Gravity Falls, Gumball, and Adventure Time." 

Serena giggle as I blushed and gave my mom a little glare. She sent me a sweet smile in return.
