Lisa's PoV
"I'll press charges to you and your wife for keeping my niece from me. I'll leave your daughter behind with this mess that you made. So you should be thankful with that at least."My uncle said to Jennie's parents that made my blood boil and I was about to say something but my brother held my arms, as a signal that I should not do anything because I might make things worst.
"Uncle, please understand that they didn't do anything wrong. It was my idea. I was the one who asked for their help. Please... let's just go on our merry way back to Australia and just leave this all behind."My brother's voice was so unbelievably calm talking to our uncle despite, how angry he is feeling right now.
"Leave this all behind? They kept Lisa from me for a year! I knew who helped you. I know them! Don't you think I'm not keeping tracks on what my niece and nephew are doing? Your parents left me as your sister's legal guardian because they know I'll do what's good for her!"
How is all of this good for me!? You're trying to ruin my life!
"By good, you meant Lisa marrying that girl beside her to save your company?"It was Jennie's father who talked next. He scoffed and chuckled sarcastically as he looked at my uncle with disgust.
"How dare you talk to me like that!? Are you provoking me to put more charges to you and that you'll end up in jail!?"My uncle answered pissed while Jennie's father just smirked, not threatened by any of it.
I know Jennie's father is very powerful and all that but all of this things doesn't sit well with my conscience. I can't drag them into this mess even deeper. This is our problem. Not theirs.
This is so embarassing. My uncle's threatening Jennie's father even though we're in his house right now. His territory. We're lucky we didn't get kick out of here yet. I'm so ashamed of all of this. I can't handle this anymore.
I bowed to Jennie's parents following the three hundred sixty degree angle, showing how sorry I am for dragging them into this mess then went to kneel in front of my uncle. He looked so surprised with what I did but with that, I saw how he smirked after.
"I refuse to see you kneeling to this mad person. Stand up,Lisa!"Mr.Kim's voice was so authoritative and scary. He looked mad now when I turned to look at him but I only bowed to him once again and turned to my uncle who's currently smirking.
"I am sorry for escaping from you. Please leave them alone and don't press any charges,uncle. I will come back with you in Australia and do whatever you want me to do without any complains."I said as I wipe my tears. I can't believe I am saying these things just to make this monster in front of me satisfied.
"Anything I want?"
"If you'll leave them out of this mess. Yes."
"So you'll marry Miy-"
"That is up to my father. My father is the one who get to decide if we're marrying or not and he won't agree to it if we're only forced to marry each other just to save your freaking company."It was Miyeon who spoke.
"So you're not going to help me convince your father that you're both in love and ready to marry each other then? That's okay, I can just find another br-"
"I didn't say anything about not helping her."Miyeon cut him off with that,that made uncle chuckle.
"So the wedding is on the way then!"He exclaimed and smiled like a fool.
