Jennie's PoV
I went out of my room and go to my father's office getting annoyed. It's still early in the morning and he wanted me to talk to him! Is this that important to the point that he's waking me this early for a talk?!
"Good morning,sweetie. Take a sit please."My father greeted.
I did what I was told and he started to discuss things with me. He said someone will stay in our house for the whole school year and that person is on the same age as me. In shirt we're on the same year.
"Why would she stay here dad? Can't she just get a unit here in Seoul for herself?"I asked pretty annoyed.
So this is the important talk that he was talking and this is the reason why he wake me up this early? Tsk.
"She can ,sweetheart. But fortunately this person is the sibling of the guy who save me from dying. I offered to help. And that girl's uncle is getting her into a fixed marriage without her not agreeing with it and she's too young for it so her brother wanted to sort things out—"
"Yeah sure,whatever you want dad. Can I go to sleep now dad? I want to sleep more."I said cutting him off but in a respectful way making sure my father won't get pissed at my bitch side.
He laughed at me before nodding. I went back to my room to sleep more but it turns out that I today is Jisoo's birthday,my bestfriend. We agreed to eat breakfast together with Irene. Ughh!!
I groaned getting up and took a shower then I dressed my self up with a simple dress.
My father is not here anymore I think he's in the company working already. I just told our maids to tell my father that I'm going out because it's Jisoo's birthday . I don't really need to tell my father about what my activities are but I would still informed him sometimes because I don't want to abuse his freedom that he gave. He is still my father so at least he should know what are my activities are.
"I thought you forget about my birthday!"Jisoo said when she sees me approaching her with Irene.
I rolled my eyes. How can I not? She's constantly reminding me of her birthday for the last two weeks!
"Is that a gift I see?"She said looking at what I am holding.
"No. It's a garbage."I said and acted like I was about to throw my gift for her.
"I shouldn't have just asked since its obvious."She said stopping me and getting the gift from my hand.
"Happy Birthday unnie."I said and she just nodded at me giving me a big smile while she was opening the gift I have to her.
"You seemed not in a good mood today?"Irene asked checking my face and then she chuckled.
"Oh I forgot. You're not in a good mood most of the days."She said that made me roll my eyes.
"My father wake me up so early."I said.
"Oh, that's great actually."Irene chuckled again.
"I agree. You always sleep and wake up so late then you would sleep again. Your father just did the right thing."Jisoo said and chuckled together with Irene.
We ate breakfast together and went out for a shopping after. I need to buy some some clothes because school will start next monday already.
"Look who's here...."I turned around to see who talked.
"Okay chill. It's my birthday this Saturday and I'm throwing a party in my house. Wanna come?"He said and smiled gently.
I raised a brow at him. Why would I come? To get myself drunk again in his house?
"I'm not interested."I said and turned to the clothes and started picking what I want to buy.
"How about I will just throw a formal party since you seemed to not liking a wild one ?"He asked and get the clothes from my hand so that he can carry it but a personnel approached to help him carry it.
"Do whatever you want."I told him and walk passed by him but he instantly followed me behind.
Why would he change his plans for me when I am not even the celebrant.
"It's my day,Jennie. I would be very sad if I don't see you there.My parents is also expecting you to come.And you don't have to bring a gift for me there your presence on that day is already a gift for me I assure you that."He said urging me to come.
I rolled my eyes. Can't he get more persistent? I know he still likes me like what he said last year but why is his parents expecting me there? Tsk. That'll only mean that me and my father will go there together because I am pretty sure his parents sent my father an invitation for his birthday.
"So yeah?"He asked for confirmation.
"Okay."I said and he started jumping feeling so happy.
Do I have a choice? If only.
