Chapter 25

Lisa's PoV

"So how's Joy doing now? Is she okay?"Yugyeom asked Seulgi.

We are all having our dinner right now in this fancy restaurant. It's Mark's treat because he said that he wanted to treat us dinner because we survived the semester. Which is really good.

"I'm glad I chased after her that night or else she'll be sleeping on the streets. Her relatives are nowhere to be found now that she needs serious. Shame to them,they were all sticking to Joy's family when her parents are still alive and they are still well off."Seulgi answered not even making contact to one of us.

These days she's acting really serious. I know it must be so hard for her situation. Between her girlfriend or her best friend? I don't want to blame Irene to their break up but she should have been considerate though and let her jealousy set aside. Joy was Seulgi's childhood best friend first and besides Seulgi already did explained to her that the two broke up because the relationship didn't work and they just decided to just be friends again.

"You're not planning to fix your relationship with Irene?"Mark asked and she shook her head sideways.

"You guys witnessed how our relationship went. It wasn't healthy. And I'm too busy fixing some files so we could finally go and migrate to Canada next semester."Seulgi announced that made us all shocked.

What fuck is she saying!??

"You're what!??"We all said in unison. We kind of said yell saying that to the point that the other people from the other table looked at us.

"My parents wants me to go with them in Canada and I said agreed. Joy's coming with us. They already agreed too."She said like it's not a big thing.

This is so sudden! She must be joking!?

"Are you serious right now?"Yugyeom asked serious too like he's not having it.

"We are leaving in five days to celebrate Christmas in another country right?So let's get wasted two days before that day ,my treat."Seulgi said and flashed a smile to us.

So she's serious! She's broken right now I know because it has been two weeks since she and Irene broke up but her leaving the country suddenly? She said her parents asked her to go with them but I know that her breakup with Irene took part of it. I guess she wants to heal somewhere far?

Seeing your ex everyday in school doesn't help your process in moving on at all. It only makes you want go and fix that toxic relationship.

Since the two broke up I can't even go and eat lunch with Jennie in the cafeteria. Because I don't want to offend Seulgi and same goes to Jennie. Jennie said it's frustrating because Irene would just cry all of a sudden and rant how Seulgi chose her bestfriend between her own girlfriend.

I excused my self when I received a text from Jennie that she and Jisoo are already here. I smiled when I spotted them and give them a quick hug.

"Irene don't want to go?"I asked them as I guided them where our table are.

"No. She said she can't stand having a dinner with her ex."Jisoo answered me and I just chuckled and nodded not saying another word.

Jisoo sat beside Yugyeom while I made Jennie sit beside me. She's still wearing my hoodie that I gave to her this morning. She went to my room this morning to wake me up because I overslept.

"Tell me if you want something I'll order it for you."I told her as I handed the steak that I already cut for her.

I must eat and order too much so that the bill will make Mark poor but even if I do that I just can't because his parents or his brother will always put money on his bank account. That's why he's always overspending. Tsk.
