Lisa's PoV
"This cookie recipe is so simple but it tastes so good,sweetie!"Mrs.Kim said while taking a bite at what we made.
We just ate dinner earlier. It's so funny because when I pick Jennie in Irene's house her mother called her to come home with me so that we could eat dinner together. Jennie's father was the one who cook all the food so we couldn't say no. I'm sad because we're not able to have our second date tonight but at the same time I feel so happy because I got to eat dinner with her family.
Jennie's parents are always busy. They travel from country to country but they never waste their free time .They spend it to their child. Just like what my parents do when they are still alive. God....I miss them so much.
"I once baked a cookie before,honey. Which one is the best? Lisa's or your husband?"Mr.Kim asked
"What are you talking about,honey? Of course Lisa's cookies is the best. She's gonna be a michelin chef soon for a reason!"Mrs.Kim argued with her husband that made me chuckle.
I lowered my head because I think I'm going to cry anytime soon. I really miss my parents so much. They also argue like this too. They look so cute when they tease each other. They are both so in love. And as a offspring I feel so happy and proud with that.
"Why do you always forget to take off your apron?"Jennie whispered,untying my apron.But our position right now is like she's hugging me.I smiled and whispered sorry and she shook her head sideways and said that it's fine.
"Okay I have to agree to that."Mr.Kim said agreeing to what Mrs.Kim has said and we all laugh except for Jennie who looks annoyed while folding my apron.
"Thank you."I thanked taking my apron that she folded for me.
I think I need to always forget taking off my apron always so that Jennie will always take it off for me. And I get to get a free hug too.
"What about we bake a cake this Christmas,sweetie? I really like how I learn new recipes from you!Thank you for baking cookies with me tonight!"Mrs.Kim said and gave me a quick hug while smiling that made me chuckle.
"Honey,she can't. Lisa's brother mentioned to me that they will spend the Christmas in Thailand together with their relatives there."Mr.Kim informed her wife.
"Don't worry,mom. I'll teach you how to make it before I go to Thailand."I said to make Mrs.Kim's mood rise again. She smiled at me and nodded.
After that they both excuse themselves because they need to wash up and sleep early.They still have an early flight to catch on tomorrow.
Me and Jennie are the only one who's left here in the kitchen. She's typing something on her laptop while me I am washing the dishes.
"Put that away. The maids can do that."She said and closed her laptop and look straight up to me.
"But I can do it too?"I playfully argued and she glared at me making me laugh and just stop from what Im doing.
"You really have a bad temper."I said and raised a brow.
"That's okay you like me anyways."She backfired raising a brow too that made me laugh again.
Seriously,this girl!
But okay,that's true though.
