Chapter 19

Lisa's PoV

"Where are you going?"I asked and put my book down in the table then I stood up.

"Mall."She answered shortly and sat down on the couch across me to put on her shoes.

"Can I come? I'm so bored."I asked her and thankfully she nodded at me without hesitation.

It's Saturday and I am supposedly not reading a cooking book right now instead I'm having fun with the kids at the orphan but they called me if I could just come next week because they're afraid they're taking too much of my time and I'm spoiling the kids. They want me to rest this weekend and nothing more.

I mean it's not really a bother because I'm enjoying my self spending time with the kids at the orphanage. They are all so cute. They seem happy at a young age but what will happen to their happy and innocent minds when they finally grow up and realize everything?The reality? Their reality?

By just imagining their faces crying makes me emotional. They didn't want this to happen. This wasn't their choice. It's too unfair—

"Why the hell are you crying?"Jennie whispered on my ear that made me got out from my own trance.

"Shit. I'm sorry."I said and immediately wiped it with my hands.

I quickly get the bags from Jennie's hold when I noticed that she already paid in the counter all the clothes that she was holding earlier.

I spaced out too much. Fuck.

"You're not supposed to stress your hands–"

"It's fine now. Don't worry."I cut her off because she was trying to get the bags again.

She sighed and the next thing she did is not what I'm expecting for her to do.

"Don't cry all of a sudden. People might find you weird."She lightly scold me as she wipe my eyes with the hem of her sleeves.

I chuckled and I just found my self hugging her. My heart is beating abnormally. She's doing things that seems normal to her but it really means something to me.Seriously.

"Did they fight?"

"I don't know but they look so good together!"

"You're right I'm glad they already made up or else I'll steal that handsome tall girl."

I chuckled from what I heard from the girls talking at our side and break the hug.

"That wasn't funny."Jennie glared at the girls who was talking earlier that made me let out a chuckle again but I stopped when I notice her now glaring at me too.

"I'm sorry. My girlfriend is not in the mood right now."I apologized at the two girls and bowed a little. They giggled and bowed a little to me too but they later on walk away from us because Jennie was staring at them with her poker face.

"I'm not your girlfriend."She corrected me and shoot glares.

I nodded and flash a smile as I snatch her hands to mine.

"Are you free tomorrow?"I asked.

"I'm not."She shortly answered.

It's Sunday! What is she planning to do!? I nodded disappointed to the answer that I get. Tss...

"You're going out with your friends tomorrow?"I asked.

Probably.

"Why are you asking me these questions?"She asked me back and stopped as she look at me.

I playfully raise my right brow and smiled.

"A date sounds good tomorrow though."I indirectly ask her that.

I chuckled when she rolled her eyes at me and tried to hid her smile but too late baby I already saw that.

"There's this party that my parents is suppose to attend tomorrow but they have loads if works in Japan so they asked me if I could fill in. I don't have a date. "She said that made my smile bigger.

Did she just ask me to be her date indirectly?

"So our first date will happen tomorrow,huh?"I teased and she raised a brow at me and looks at me if I'm kidding or something.

"Who says you're going to be my date?"She said and I don't know if she's kidding or what so I choose to go with the flow.

"Is that so? And who says I'm gonna be your date tomorrow? I better chill at Mark's tomorrow.Tsss..."I kidded and break the contact of our hands.

I slid it in the pocket of my hoodie while the other was holding the bags of the clothes what she has bought.

"Why do you always hangout in his condominium? Do you want to live there? Our house is more better than his condominium."She said and shoot glares at me.

It's not that though. I just feel so indebted with her family and to her.

"Don't long for me too much Jennie Kim. I just feel like a burden to you and so besides you might get irritated at me if you see my face everyday."I joked but she just stared at me with a face that looks like she's not liking a thing that I just spoke.

"I even asked you my self to just stay and to not leave the house but you still feel that way?"She asked-not it's not really a question though.

I nodded and she let out a frustrated sigh.

"Our first date will happen tomorrow so be prepared and don't even dare ditch me because you're the one who asked for this."She said sternly and I instantly smiled again feeling happy to what she just said.

Okay,Jennie Kim this is too much for me to handle. She get my hands out from the pocket of my hoodie and intertwined it again with hers again. Lord, what did I do to experience this?
